Indigo Events could not have done a better job of providing tea, coffee, cake and sausage rolls for a recent family wake. Tatjana was quick to respond to all queries and extremely empathetic to the emotions of the day - her kindness was so appreciated . The cake and sausage rolls she made were completely delicious and beautifully displayed - everyone loved them. We will absolutely be using Indigo Events again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic Sussex caterer. More...

Possibly the best decision I made (after marrying the love of my life) is to have asked one of my longest and best friends, Tatjana Keenan of Indigo Events to make my wedding cake(s). Not only where they spectactular in presentation, they tasted out of this world. My family and friends who attended the wedding could not believe how amazing they were and everyone kept going on a roll about them. Tatjana's organization and preparation is impecable. She personally made arrangements for delivery, presentation and did so in a manner that I didn't even need to worry about it on my big day. She baked them freshly that very morning (in the middle of the night) as she has her own standard that they need to be perfect for the day. And if that was not perfect enough, she presented a glass of bubbly to go with it and did the cake cutting so I did not need to worry about that either. I cannot recommend her catering, skills, care and tastyness enough. If there was such a thing as 10 stars for a rating, Tats would get 10.000 from me. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
By getting an understanding of what each client is looking for an working them them to create that vision, rather than pigeon hole one option fits all. Catering is a personal thing, so I always try to make it personal to each client
What do you love most about your job?
The joy lovely food brings to people is what I love. Food is a passion and one can be so creative with ingredients, flavours and presentation to really give people the feeling that you care.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My grandmother taught me how to bake and my dad enjoyed cooking so I love the fact that I can keep those memories alive with my business.

I will aim to tailor my catering to their needs and everything is made fresh from scratch, so you get high quality and freshness that is very evident.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Testing prior to functions so as to ensure this is no risk of infection. Also all equipment is sanitized before use.
