What do you love most about your job?

Dogs are my passion! It's as simple as that...

'Doggy' was my first word! (Yes, before 'Mummy' and 'Daddy'!). After crying incessantly for a dog at the age 3, I was finally allowed to have one, and I have been the proud 'Mum' to dogs of many breeds and temperaments since.

With this in mind, working with dogs has been a natural progression for me. Prior to setting up 'In The Dog's House', I have worked voluntarily for dog shelters since my early teens and have been employed by several Animals at Home branches as a dog-sitter.

As the famous saying goes, "If you love your job, you will never work another day in your life" - this is what 'In The Dog's House' means to me - and the services that we provide to you and your pets is my demonstration of that.

What inspired you to start your own business?

The one and only reason I started my business is for my love of dogs ...

Spending each and every working day with these special animals is a gift.
For centuries, dogs have offered valuable (and often critical) assistance to man, as well as being the most faithful of companions. Each dog has these capabilities and should be respected and cared for to the highest of standards. If I can provide an hour or more of service to a dog's needs, then I have 100% job satisfaction!

I have dog-handling experience with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I am DBS checked, fully insured, have a fully equipped van, First Aid Certified and a 1st Class Dog Lover!

All animals are special and have individual needs, just like humans. In The Dog's House will always treat your pet with this in mind, tailoring our service to your pet's needs. Your pet couldn't be in better hands!
