Aerial & Drone Photography

David was very professional and I’m delighted with the photos. I’ll definitely use his company again.

Q&As

The drone work has to be carried out on site, but any post-processing of the photos and/or video footage can be carried out at our offices and supplied to you via Dropbox or large file transfer protocols, or even sent to you via Micro SD cards.

Part of the CAA legislation means that the drone operator must keep a distance from either involved ot uninvolved persons during drone operations, and this is sufficient to prevent transmission of COVID.

Services

The iconic Swedish camera brand Hasselblad designed and built the L2D-20c aerial camera just for our DJI Drones, embedding a professional-grade 4/3 CMOS 20mp still that delivers fantastic resolution - even from 400 feet! This camera also offers a 7x physical zoom, and 28x optical zoom, and can shoot in either jpg or RAW formats.

If you want artistic shots of your home or business, eye-catching wedding photos, or even just some of yourself doing your favourite hobby, In-Flight can help capture great photos.

In-Flight are also able to offer professional post-processing using the very latest Adobe Photoshop software.

Our drones capture video at up to 5.1K/50 fps, 4K/60 fps and 1080p/60fps using H.264 and H.265 encoders. In slow-motion applications, the drone can capture video at 4K/120fps and 1080p/200fps. Its 24mm equivalent focal length lens opens to an adjustable aperture spanning f/2.8 to f/11 for 12.8 stops of native dynamic range.

We can also offer professional post-processing using the industry standard Adobe Premier Pro software package.

Whether it is capturing sales shots for commercial businesses such as estate agents, of supplying architects with visual evidence of issues with buildings, drones are able to go where another service may struggle. To even go above the first-floor height of a building, the Working at Heights regulations stipulate that you must use costly scaffolding.

A drone is able to do in minutes what the non-drone user may take days or weeks to complete, and at a tiny fraction of the cost.

When developing a building site, if the groundwork is incorrectly set out or placed, then the entire project can end up requiring demolition. Being able to see the layout from above is becoming the view of choice for architects and building surveyors. Checking the aerial view against plans is now seen as an essential step on groundworks development.

In-Flight Drones are also able to offer aerial views for archaeology surveys and digs. Since previously-disturbed ground is often only noticeable from the air, using a drone to investigate the extent of potential archaeological ruins is becoming the preferred option when setting out a dig area.

Drones are able to capture shots and video that other technologies cannot hope to emulate. Whether it is a high and distant shot, a zoom-into camera view, or a following shot, In-Flight have the expertise to make your film-making exquisite.

Because we can fly at up to 400 feet, and cover a great amount of ground quickly, we can help you with domestic or wild animal surveys. If you want to check on your cattle or deer, or need to inspect rabbit infestations, using a drone makes sense.
