I am a semi retired headteacher with a great track record of helping children learn and succeed. I have taught all ages of children, both as a class teacher and in giving tuition. I would love to help your child develop their confidence, skills and ability, too.

Ian is an excellent tutor. He is very patient and competent in his teaching. In particular, is able to explain topics clearly and ensures that his student is confident to independently complete activity before he moves on to the next lesson.

I love helping children to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to enjoy and succeed with their education.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I'd always thought I might offer tuition help when I retire, but the Covid 19 pandemic brought things a bit closer. Many children have fallen behind with their work, or not received the help they needed, through no fault of their own or their family. It's a privilege to be able to do my bit to help.

Yes, I can offer remote online tuition. I use up to date software, including the pro version of Zoom, to give the best possible service to my clients. Texts, puzzles, videos and screens can be easily shared to make for the best quality online tuition available.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Working remotely means that there is no chance of Covid transmission. I am still working in schools, too, but take all the recommended precautions to keep everyone safe.
Tuition
I offer private tuition for children up to 11 years old in all subjects that are part of the English National Curriculum, and have particular expertise in maths and English.
