We had a great experience buying from Ideal Shutters. There are a lot of companies out there and of course the well known major in the market but we wanted to support a local, family run business. It seems to have paid off, from first enquiry, through the measuring and quotation, to installation they have been great. The quality of the blinds is excellent and the installation is very neat. This was an easy experience from the quote, to the fitting. It was a couple of months wait whilst they were made but it was well worth this wait! I had a bay and a normal window to be fitted. The fitter arrived on time and was very pleasant. He was efficient and cleaned up as he worked. They looked great when they were done and made the bedrooms look bigger. From the moment I met Nick who did all the measuring and showed me samples I knew I wanted to use this company. I had two other quotes and although the price was relatively the same it was the customer service that was important to me, I wanted a honest and trustworthy company who would ensure I was given the best advice that would fit my budget. Louise who I dealt with after meeting Nick was informative and friendly. Pav who fitted the shutters was a perfectionist which is exactly what you want when you spend out on shutters! He was friendly and I felt I could leave him at my house to carry on whilst I was out. My house isn’t an easy one to fit shutters on as the walls aren’t that straight but you’d never know it as the shutters are excellent and they make the house look modern and cosy!
