Hi I’m Ian, I was born & bred in a small village nestled under the Quantock Hills in Somerset. My late Father was a Master Saddler and had a Saddlery shop in the village. He taught me a lot about the Countryside and its Flora & Fauna.

From the age of 14, I bought my first camera, it was a Zenith, a heavy Russian 35mm camera. Now the digital age is upon us and we can pick & choose what photos we use, not having a roll of film to be developed after. Cameras have become far more financially available and in my opinion easier for everyone to use. Point & press on Auto and you’re a photographer!

I class myself as a Documentary Photographer. I cover the South West mainly, but I have ventured further afield. My style is very natural & unobtrusive, I specialise in capturing images that tell the story of your day from Weddings to Horse shows. I’m very outgoing and an excellent communicator, this allows me to build a rapport with my clients.


To achieve the best results my client’s need to know what is expected of them, we are both aiming for the same thing and this can only be done by working together.
