Q&As

Being part of the clients awakening when they see and feel hope and gain confidence to unlock their own power to make sense of life’s stressful situations and take back some element of control over their choices to live a better way.

Traumatic life experience of seeing others lose loved ones opened my own eyes to understand better how I might be able to use my skills to help others with life’s challenges.

I am passionate about each persons potential and what they have to offer with their lives for themselves and others. Working together I have had so many instances where I have been able to have the privilege of helping in some way that individual live their life when at times they felt this was not possible.

Yes both Online, Telephone or in person and Outdoors. I am fully trained in all mediums of delivering therapy.

I abide by covid regulations in person as set out by local authorities and I have additional guidelines for working online safely for all clients.

Services

Extensive bereavement counselling experience. Working with bereaved individuals and loved ones of those who are dying and who have passed, I can help you navigate the sense of loss, trauma and shock of losing your loved one and help in trying to adapt to a new way of living.

We all experience anxiety. Some anxiety is good for us. However, so much of our lives can become entrenched in a battle with anxiety which can start to and sometimes lead to a loss of control over our daily lives. I can work with you in several ways to develop coping strategies together with building a long term base from which you can lead your life in more fulfilled ways.

I have been delivering Walk and Sessions for the last 4 years and this has become a significant part of my therapy working week. Experiencing the outdoors and using movement alongside a professionally trained therapist can open up huge self awareness and devote confidence in a person. Health worries, anxiety around social situations and improving self confidence be it through suffering from low mood and depression or a life event, outdoor sessions can free you to improve your overran health together with building resilience when tackling life challenges. I would recommend walk and talk sessions only after an initial assessment with a client to discuss how this method of therapy could be suitable and safe depending upon the presenting issues a client may have. This method of delivering therapy sessions is open to all however, this has proved particularly successful when helping with Anger/Anxiety/Depression and bereavement.
