Ivan has recently painted our hall, stairs and landing including all of the woodwork in satin, the walls and ceilings. I stumbled onto Bark by chance, trying to find a decorator to paint several doors before getting laminate fitted. I immediately got 2 responses offering a reasonable quote but Ivan offered to do the whole job for a fixed price excluding paint after seeing the photos l had sent on the website.
Nevertheless l invited him the next day to see the flat and make sure that he understood what we wanted. We confirmed the agreed price and he started the next day.
So happy that we met Ivan, a really likable and hardworking young person. He was incredibly punctual and worked hard from 8-5pm for 4 days. Would respond to our messages immediately and kept us informed.
His painting is good and we were happy to give him more work. In the end we got him to paint all the woodwork in the flat, paint bathroom ceiling and he was able to beautifully re-silicon our shower tray which had leaked in the past and put a new pvc plinth at the bottom.
As we had a tight deadline with laminate due to be fitted, Ivan carried on working continuously on Saturday and Sunday to help us complete everything on time. We can’t thank him enough. I know he likes doing carpet fitting, laminating and tiling but we would happily have our place painted by him again in the future.
