Enjoyed playing pool there. Very crowded on a weeknight too, so do make a reservation ahead of time. Bar is well stocked, but snacks options are very limited. I didn't enjoy the chips at all. Might as stop serving it. More...

A fantastic venue offering both British and American pool tables. You pay per hour rather than per game. Usually the bar is well stocked and offers a small hot food menu, such as pizza etc. The yearly membership is reasonable and the staff are friendly. It can get very busy but during the week day, day times it’s quiet enough to walk in and grab a table without needing to book in advance. I would recommend to bring your own pool cue if you can as the supplied ones are often bent out of shape or damaged in some way. More...

Great place to hang out with my friends. There are American / British pool and also Snookers. However, be aware that it can be very busy during weekends nights (sometimes can be up to 2 hours wait) - if you plan to come around this time, should come before 7, higher chance of getting a table and avoid long waiting time.

Open 24 hours, so always good for a visit. You need to be a member to go in after 11pm (by law) and you can only become a member before 11pm. Other than that, a decent place to come and shoot some pool while you're watching for a train, or if you happen to miss the last train home :) More...

Been going for years. Always fun. Only downside is the glass collecting skills. Need a little work on getting around more often to collect.

Staff was super friendly, the prices weren't too bad, the atmosphere was surprisingly nice given the exterior, and most importantly, there was actually pool 24 hours a day. We went at two on a Sunday, when most everything else in all of London is closed, and got to play some pool. You pay by the minute as well which is very helpful. Seemed to have a fair, if midly pricey, food selection as well. More...

Great place to play pool and snooker. It's 8 quid per hour if you're a student, 10 if you're a member, and 13 if you're a non-member.

Membership costs 20 quid a year.

To save you trouble doing the math, here's the low down:

If you plan to play more than 6 hours a year, get the membership. :)

I come here every Saturday for junior snooker training with Coach John Woods for around 3-4 hours and I come here to practice sometimes on Tuesdays. I also came there to meet the arrival of Ronnie O'Sullivan and Jimmy White on 11th October. This is a very nice place for me to come and train snooker and gives me every chance of becoming a professional. I have been coming here since May 2015 and I will continue to train here and play snooker it the upstairs snooker tables. Manager Mark is very helpful and is a nice person to meet when I come there. I will always come here time to time to practice and go to Saturday junior training so look out for me in the future as a pro - Elias Martin - Beris. follow me on instagram : #eliasmartinberis More...

More...

Overall:4/5 If you're looking for a no frills alternative venue to bring mates for a game and a drink then the hurricane rooms are for you. I'm a regular and like it there.Look/atmosphere: Caters for american, european pool and snooker also has a couple of poker tables to hire. You need to buzz in at the slightly dodgy looking entrance but don't be afraid the interior looks nicer and more bar like!Is a standard old school snooker venue, quite dark dim lighting too. Has about 7 of each table available. Cues and tables are decent for non professionals and has a lot of regulars there too.Service: Can be very busy at peak times queueing for tables can be up to 10-15min but has small seating area. Drinks are cleared away regularly in the gaming areas too. Bar staff are nice.Price: Decent prices there, membership is about £20 per year and £3 entry per member and can bring 1 friend at that price. (has non member prices too) Tables are about £6.50-£7 per hour. Drinks are about £4 from memory. Food/Drinks: Small bar near entrance, has the regular drinks at a standard prices. Food is microwave meals not recommended, (eat before or after) but you are not here for the food. More...
