About

Just a university student—majoring in Biology and minoring in Neuroscience—who is trying to earn some income before graduation. Had a Miniature Schnauzer for 11 years previously (September 2010 to August 2021) and usually hangs out well with cats too.

Q&As

Language translation: I am proficient in Mandarin Chinese (Taiwan and mainland China), and do not rely on inaccurate translation through the usage of another Chinese dialect (e.g. Cantonese). This greatly minimise the potential situation which the statements in question could get lost in translation. Having worked in the QA/QC sector of the food industry (4.5 years) for a stringent Japanese company previously, I have a high standard when it comes to translation (food labels) and my expectation of my work output.

Pet Sitting/Dog Walking: I have experiences handling dogs (my late Miniature Schnauzer of 11 years and gentler/handicapped mutts in a dog shelter back in my home country) and being the pack leader. I am also able to win the trust of feral cats with time/sometimes instantly. Any instructions/advice from the owner—based on the temperament of the pet—will be followed as closely as I possibly can.

Services

Owned a Miniature Schnauzer previously, and was able to teach him simple tricks and be his pack leader throughout his 11 years of life. Able to hang out well with cats as well.

Obtained B3 grade (Composition and Comprehension) and Merit (Oral and Aural examinations) for Chinese Language in Singapore-Cambridge GCE (Ordinary Level) Examination—equivalent to British GCSE. I am a native Mandarin Chinese speaker and is able to translate both Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
