Survey was done by an experienced heating engineer who was able to give me a competitive price within the hour. The addition of 5 years free servicing made the deal attractive financially. Installation took place on the date I specified. Work was completed within one day and the new boiler functions perfectly. Friendly customer service confirming date and taking payment. Yes not a problem will get right on to that for you , check your email should be there by about lunch time tomorrow .No , on second thoughts why should we bother helping one of our customers , to claim a heating grant . Just tell them it is on its way . We were told about the grant by a friend , the day after we paid our deposit , but well within the cooling off period . If you had told us that you had no intention of sending us the quote and starting date of works , we would have asked a more helpful firm to assist us , and we did qualify for the grant , my wife is disabled , and we do not earn a fortune .Good tradesmen /unhelpful salesman and office staff .To busy chasing down new suckers , oops . sorry . Stuart, from hug boilers, came to quote us for a new boiler; he was very professional and polite and advised us everything we needed. We was extremely impressed with the quote and the free five year service, which he offered us and clinched the deal. When we accepted the quote, it only took two days for them to supply and install the new boiler. The boiler engineer (whose name i have forgotten, sorry :() came out first thing in the morning. I cannot fault Hug Boilers who recently fitted our new boiler. We went from standard boiler that heats a tank to combi and are very satisfied. Jason right from first contact looked after us explaining our options and how the job would be done and Sam the fitter was very polite efficient also fully explaining everything to us. The plumbers and electrician that HUG employ are second to none DAZ and GAZ and WAINE are true tradesmen Thank you all so much for a job well done it was like having friends round to help us out and to put in an amazing system. It is working well , plenty of piping hot water and the house is as warm as we want . The only thing that left a sore taste in our mouth is that we asked the salesman and the office staff if they could send to us a start date and cost of the boiler so we could claim a grant from our local council. They told us that it would not be a problem and would send it to us ASAP .What they did send us as soon as the electrician had sent in his report, to say all done , was a request for the balance due to them .We are wondering , when the time comes to request a service for the boiler , will they be bothered to help us , or , tell us no problem and we will be forced to ask the services of another tradesman , We will let you know in a years time. From initial enquiry to job end the service was excellent. Jason who did the initial costing was very informative. Adam, the installer, and the electrician were also excellent. Adam worked solidly from 9.30am to 5pm (in rain). He had some tricky things to sort out, but did it without complaint. The electrician explained the thermostat and set it for me. Needed a new boiler. Jason got in touch and explained what would be the best boiler to suit my needs and what to look for in relationship to quarantees. It was because of his advice that I decided to buy from Hug. Adam the fitter/engineer arrived 8.30 and worked solidly until about 4. He explained each stage of the process as he worked through the fitting. I am not very technical minded so had difficulty in understanding the working of the thermostat but Adam was patient with me and explained until I did understand. The installer arrived on time and after covering my kitchen floor with sheeting to protect he got going. Within three hours the new boiler was installed, magnetic filter fitted and the system chemically flushed. Job done!

Had a new boiler fitted by Hug boilers on 13 July 2023 I was very pleased with the whole service I received from start to finish. The whole process from booking to completion was 48 hours. Jason helped me choose the right boiler and explained the ins and outs of the warranty and gave me a very competitive price for the Ideal Logic boiler I chose. Tom arrived promptly at 7.30 am and was very friendly, efficient and hard working. He got on with the job and made an extra effort to fit the outside flue securely under difficult conditions due to the height and steepness of the drive. Wayne arrived in the afternoon to work on the electrics. He was also very friendly and efficient and got straight on with the job. They both cleaned up after themselves and made no mess.
