Kelly has been walking our dog for nearly a year now and he absolutely adores her and so do we! It's obvious she loves what she does and knows each of the dogs she walks so well. When we first got our dog, aged 14 months, he was very nervous of both other dogs and people so Kelly always made sure he went out with calmer, gentler dogs so as to build his confidence. He is now a completely different dog and loves playing with his other four legged (and two legged) friends! Kelly is incredibly flexible and has helped us out on numerous occasions at very late notice when we have needed someone to walk him. She has also had him to stay when we went on holiday and I know he had the BEST time with her and her family. Kelly is an absolute gem and is amazing with my miniature schnauzer. She makes sure that whenever possible Mika is walked with other dogs her own size and character. What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new clients and getting to know their companions. I love nothing more than walking out in a variety of setting and watching the dogs play, sniff and explore. It's always a real adventure!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a passion for animals and felt there was a need for a more personal, bespoke service in the dog walking industry.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am reliable, never take on too many dogs and have an attention to detail. I understand everyone has individual needs and always cater for these. I am honest, calm and will treat your pets as I would my own. I am continually updating my knowledge through courses to help keep me focused on my job. And lastly, because I love my job and dog clients!!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am personally fully vaccinated and ask clients to inform me if they or any members are ill with Covid.. dogs from these households will be walked separately if necessary. I am vigilant about cleaning van in a regular basis and wiping down surfaces. All shared items are cleaned on regular basis.
