Welcome to Hound & Hooman Professional Dog Walking Services.

So a little bit about the Hooman....
I've never known life without a dog by my side. From growing up with Labradors and then rescuing our first greyhound lurcher 15yrs ago. Our family consists of three dogs at present, two Bedlington / Whippets, Lilly and Tommy, and a rescue Lurcher called Ellie who resides with my parents.

I currently work evening surgery as a Veterinary Assistant, a role that I have undertaken for two years, and I am now taking my adoration for canines that one step further and starting my own dog walking services.

I am fully insured with a 5 star feefo rated insurance company (https://www.protectivity.com/product/pet-business-insurance/) and fully qualified as a dog walking professional, I hold a current pet first aid certificate and I also have a veterinary nurse assistants diploma. (All my credentials will be available to view at our first meeting should you wish to use my services.)

I'm happy to take out any breed, giant - mini and I'm happy to take nervous/ anxious dogs (as both my parents dogs have had confidence issues so I've had lots of experience with these behaviours) or dogs whose owners use muzzles. I can also offer the use of a long line for freedom in public (with the safety of a lead still being attached to your dog ) and I am happy to feed/ water/ administer medication to your dog during our time together if you need me too.

My walks are offered on a 1-2-1 basis (unless multiple dogs are from the same household). This is to ensure your dog gets my full attention and it also allows me to build up a good connection with them too. If you would like an element of socialisation incorperated on 1-2-1 walks then i would bring along one of my own dogs to ensure social compatability.
