Hoops & Hounds Dog Training

Doodle, Milo has just completed his first training course at Hoops & Hounds. I thought he was untrainable but he has responded very well and this is credit to the good work by Michelle aided by Theresa. I can safely say this was the best training course I have ever attended (and I have had many dogs over the years) Michelle is an extremely knowledgeable, talented and enthusiastic trainer. I had Michelle come to help me with my new rescue dog who had not been socialised and was nervous. I love training with Michelle. Her classes are always fun and motivating, and I've lost track of all the tricks my dogs have learnt. Really REALLY enjoyed the workshops, which I can honestly say are best and most interesting workshops I've ever been to. Absolutely loved the puppy training classes. All the trainers are so patient and understanding, and personally I have learnt loads from this experience. Being a first time puppy owner I didn’t really know where to begin and this has definitely been a worthwhile experience and I can’t thank them enough. Michelle is an amazing trainer. My partner had been away since I started training Nanuq with her, and she couldn't recognise our dog, especially when he was on the lead. Such an improvement. As malamute owners it was good that she has lots of experience with the breed as well. I would thoroughly recommend Michelle's services to any dog owner, not just for new puppies either. What more needs to be said than "gifted"? Michelle has the God given talent and patience to bring out the very best in your dog from tiny puppy to stubborn oriental breed. Her thirst for knowledge is evident by the number of educational courses she attends and she is always eager to pass it on. Skye is a rescue dog and hasn't had a great start in life. Michelle is not only help Skye with basic commands but is giving me and Kurt so much confidence it is unbelievable. I was recommended to go to hoops and hounds and was the best thing I could have done for Skye. Michelle's training and patience with me is out of this world. Today my 17 month cockapoo Dee completed her Level 1 Trick Assessment after a 6 week course - proud to say she passed with flying colours and managed quite a few of Level 2 too. The course is fun and Michelle is really easy to get along with and has a lovely way with the dogs - so encouraging and kind that the dogs really respond to her so well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michelle for either the trick course or 1 to 1 training.
