What do you love most about your job?
Being able to carry on helping and teaching students outside of the confines of a school timetable. This means that I can give each and every student an individually tailored learning experience.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I took early retirement following a bout of COVID which made me re-assess my life. At the same time I did not want to give up the joy that I get when I help students to achieve what they can. By being self employed I can have the best of both world.

Because I am passionate about what I do!
I have 30 years of teaching experience, covering English Language and English Literature up to GCSE, Maths up to GCSE, Economics and Business studies at GCSE and A' level. This experience also covers iGCSEs.
I also teach study and revision skills to all ages; adult literacy & numeracy plus functional skills in English and Maths. I have specialist qualifications in supporting with Dyslexia and Dyscalculia and in psychometric assessment.
Assessment for learning difficulties
As a qualified assessor for learning difficulties and a member of the British Psychological Society I am able to offer assessments for various learning difficulties.
Private home 1-1 tuition
Face to face tuition, within the COVID regulations at the time is offered for students in the Harrogate, Wetherby and Leeds areas.
