Having tried to sell a beautiful - but empty - flat for over 8 weeks with no luck (which was hard to believe when the market was as buoyant as it was at the time), I decided to try a different approach. I switched estate agency and worked with Home Sale Stagers to stage the flat to show it at its best. What an unbelievable difference it made! After 8 weeks of little to no interest, I had a sale within 10 days that was FAR in excess of anything that had come my way before. I absolutely believe staging the flat made all the difference, not just for the viewers who could get a 'feel' for what it could be like to live in the flat, but also because it allowed the estate agency to take stunning photos and a video. Don't forget, when a property is empty, all you see are any defects in walls and floors. With the high quality furniture, and beautifully curated pieces chosen to match my colour scheme, the flat came to life and I'm convinced was the difference in achieving my sale. Chris was a pleasure to work with, completely responsive at all times, including making the time to meet with me at the property when I was back in the area for a very short trip home. You can tell they really know what they're doing and come at this from a property marketing and sales point of view, rather than just an interior design perspective. My estate agent recommended that I stage my home, for sale. I didn’t know this service existed and was a bit apprehensive because I had a very ordinary flat. However after an initial call I knew I had lucked out and found the perfect team and that this would definitely help to sell my flat quicker and hopefully for a few pennies more. I think the service I received was great value. The guys staged my home and I am convinced it pushed my selling price up significantly. They worked to my dates with no fuss and no drama and after it was done - I joking said I wanted to move back in. What do you love most about your job?
Each job gives the opportunity to do something different and we love seeing the results of our work when our clients receive fantastic offers on their property. That really is what it's all about at the end of the day, helping our clients achieve the best sale result possible.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The continued success of dressing our own properties which in all fairness we assumed everyone did. It wasn't until a friend mentioned someone looking for a property to be dressed that we decided to offer it as a stand alone service.
Previously, we would have project managed an entire client refurbishment and dressed the property on completion to attract the highest sales values, so it was the next logical step.

Although we like to visit each property before hand, there are some instances when it's just not possible.
