I was recommended Herts plastering kings by a family friend for which I am another very happy customer of theirs. David and his team arrived exactly on time and quickly got straight to work, prepping the room ready to skim the ceiling. I am so pleased with their quality of work, nothing was too much trouble and we’re very informative when explaining the best course of action for what turned out to be a slightly more tricky job. The price for the job was by far the most competitive I had been quoted for. They completed the work super quick and left the room spotlessly clean. David has just been with us for 3 weeks plastering pretty much the entire house. He is the hardest worker I have ever known and such a pleasure to have in our home. He is not only a hard worker but exceptionally talented. Our house had the vents left over from the old style air heating system and it looked awful aswell as artex ceilings in every room. David boarded up all the vents, sorted out all the ceilings and skimmed some pretty horrendous walls. Our ceilings and walls are perfect and the blank canvas that we need to make our house a home. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always quick to help us with anything that we needed. David’s pricing is extremely competitive and delivers a fantastic, flawless result. I must also mention Leyton and Billy who helped David at various times, they were super friendly and professional and also a pleasure to welcome into our home. Their prep work was thorough and their eye for detail and level of finish I cannot fault. They also cleaned up the area each day and left me no cleaning to do after they left which was really appreciated (and rare!) What do you love most about your job?
How satisfying it is making improvements to a customers home.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I just really enjoy plastering going into a room or whole house and compleatly changing the way it looks. Replacing a celing is a favourite of mine taking something broken compleatly rebuilding it leaving it ready for painting.
I especially enjoy venetian plaster a blank wall or room you can turn into a marble plaster peice of art.
Why should our clients choose you?
The way i conduct myself is, if its not perfect its not correct.
Im very hard working, 20 hour shift to meet a deadline given to me by a bulider who was behind on a job! no problem as can been seen in my reviews.
Second to workmanship is of course the price. I'm very rarely beaten on my prices.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Gloves, masks, social distancing any area i work in is disinfected after i am finshed.
