I received counselling from Stacy after going through tough situations at work & Stacy was extremely helpful and helped me rationalise my own thoughts & feelings, as well as helping me through grief, which I had been experiencing for a very long time. Stacy was very easy to talk to & made me feel very relaxed throughout. Thank you, Stacy :) More...

For someone who didn’t see the point in going to speak to a councillor how could they help with my grief, how wrong was I.
Stacey helped and supported me through one of the darkest points in my life by talking and helping me understand my grief. She also made me feel that it is ok for me to do the things I wanted to do (eg talk to the robin) and not feel stupid for doing it. Gave me some great ideas on memory box etc. I thought it was the grief that I was struggling with but by the way she got me to talk we then realised that I was also struggling with other parts of my life, like having control of things that didn’t matter in the big world but to me at the time was MASSIVE. She helped me put things into perspective and even now a good few months later I stop and think about our conversation and it helps me when I’m feeling overwhelmed.
I can’t thank Stacey enough for her support. X

Q&As

I love that counselling makes a difference to people’s lives, that it gets to the root/core of the problem. I love seeing the changes that people make and how complete and at peace they feel when they get there.
This profession is unique in that you are accessible to everyone, no one needs to be excluded. Lifting someone from their own personal fog and allowing them to see clearly again does not happen in the same way in any other profession.

I started my own business because I saw what I do really helps and is needed. I strongly believe that no-one should suffer in silence and feel alone. I believe people have a right to live their best life and I don’t mean free from pain or hurt. Because by virtue of living we’re all going to experience pain or hurt, in one way or another. I want to be able to give you the tools, the motivation and the insight to be able to move yourself forward. I have had many a client come into counselling thinking that talking to someone will not help me and by the end of the counselling journey; they feel the exact opposite.
I saw that not everyone feels comfortable with asking for help, this is a difficult step to take and many of us don’t take this step. But being able to offer telephone counselling means you don’t have to go anywhere to access it. You don’t have to worry about what the counsellor is seeing or thinking about you, you can be you. The counselling is then about the words and the feelings. This kind of counselling gives you the freedom to be yourself and to say the known, the hidden and the unspoken thoughts without looking for judgment.

My intrinsic character is calm, supportive and patient and I am able to put others at ease to make a meaningful connection that allows the individual to open up and share their thoughts, feelings and worries and work towards overcoming them.

I want to ensure that counselling is accessible to everyone and that’s why I love telephone counselling. It’s inclusive of ability, location, disability or situation. Telephone counselling is an art, but its effectiveness is profound. I am here to build resilience and will offer appropriate support and challenge. Reaching out to me will improve your quality of life as well as building confidence and improving mental well-being.

The sessions will move at your pace, change can be slow and difficult, talking with me can give the opportunity for a busy mind to slow down, sit in the moment and help you process the pain and hurt you have been carrying for a long time. Being able to do this in a place of your choosing,
‘Your safe haven.’ Don’t delay let’s join together and look beyond any limitations you might have put on yourself. Let’s look to the possible and leave the impossible behind.

I provide my services remotely. I offer both telephone and online counselling.

I offer telephone counselling which keeps the client safe from all known or unknown viruses. Telephone counselling ensures that there are no unwarranted interruptions to the service.

Services

Counselling provides an opportunity to explore a personal difficulty in a confidential and supportive environment. This may include expressing feelings that are painful, and which many of us experience at certain times in our lives. When this happens, it can be difficult to stay positive and cope with everyday life. Counselling can provide you with the opportunity to find a positive way forward with personal issues or concerns.
