Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
A great accountant helps businesses achieve their business goals, especiallt through timely management accounts reports. Cash Flow actuals and foreceast is part of management accounts and is instrumental in keeping a business moving throughout the year by emphasising the need to pull in enough cash into the bank to pay liabilities, most of which have fixed dates of payment so to be able to forecast Cash flow throughout the financial year, means that business will be able to prepare early to meet their liabilities and also focus on having reserves to draw from in tighter cash inflow periods as opposed to relying on loans
What do you love most about your job?
Helping clients achieve their business goals.If a client earns more money or is able to survive during tough periods the same applies for me. Clients are passionate about their business succeeding just as I am. So our relationship is symbiotic. Seeing the joy of a client hit the profit targets which has huge impact on their individual families is quite special. And the same applies to me. If I can guide them to achieve that, then for sure they'll have no problem recommending me to other potential clients in addition to paying me higher fees.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To be my own boss means that I have no barrier in implementing my vision of what I want to do enanle my clients achieve their goals, which means that I achieve my goals at the same time . Also the work life balance is important for the family and relaxation side of things.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I aim to deliver them their business goals by focussing on management accounts. This means I will be there with them guiding them throughout the year, as opposed to the traditional accountant who just turns up at the end of the year mainly because the law requires filing of accounts. I do this year end work too. So I add alot of value to clients.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes. I mainly work remotely. Even if a client's accounting software is on desktop, I use teamviewer and anydesk to log into their office computer and work as if I was sat on their desk.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
For those clients who I needed to attend at their office, I now use anydesk software to log into their office computer and work.
