I'm a full time freelance musician and have been teaching Guitar lessons privately for over five years. I studied music as a Bachelors Degree at Goldsmiths University covering a wide variety of study, Jazz theory, Improvisation, Performance and of course Guitar.

Harry is a great guy and even better teacher. He is really encouraging and helps me to believe I'm constantly progressing. I'm glad I move away from youtube as I am learning a lot quicker now. Harry's lessons are always packed and the video recording of the lessons are great to go over anytime at home. He tailors the lessons for you and your music taste. Harry is a great teacher! Would highly recommend him (as I often do) to anyone. He is patient and encouraging which is especially good if you're like me and can be a little hard on yourself when you don't get something right the first time. I was also a complete beginner when I started (never picked up a guitar) now I know a range of songs, can understand the notes and cords and feel comfortable enough to play in front of family and friends. I have had lessons with Harry for over a year now and I couldn’t recommend him more. My guitar skills have improved quite dramatically in this time and I owe this to Harry. He gets to know your music taste and tailors the classes to you as well as letting you pick your own songs to learn if you want to. Harry is very inspiring, patient and he’s always fun to chat to as well :) his skill and knowledge on the guitar is incredible! You also get a video recording of your lesson at he end which I find so useful as you can go back at any point to go over what you learnt. More...

Harry is a fantastic teacher and I could not recommend him more highly.
He has a wide portfolio of experience to draw from meaning each lesson is interesting and broadens the scope of the learner beyond one particular genre.
I have particularly enjoyed his lessons on blues and African guitar music.
Having plateaued for about 10years, it is only since starting my lessons with Harry has my playing gone to the next level. I would therefore recommend Harry for anyone at any stage of learning the guitar - you will not be disappointed.

What do you love most about your job?
Seeing students get excited when they begin to progress quickly. Looking back after a year of teaching a student and realising how far they've come. Being able to express and talk passionately about music for a living.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Growing up I was taught by an amazing Guitar Teacher who was clearly so passionate about playing and music in general; it was infectious. After Studying at University I felt it was time to try and pass on all the knowledge I had gained from him and myself. I soon realised I was a good communicator when it came to talking about music so I began taking on as many students as I could, it quickly became a full time Job.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I know how to bring the best out in someone's ability. I quickly make someone feel comfortable and at ease and create a relaxed environment that is easy to learn in. I have a diverse knowledge of music and am flexible enough to teach styles from Rock to Jazz, Country to African.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions at the moment I solely teach online but will be providing face to face sessions at my home studio once restrictions are able to be eased in due corse.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
At the begging of the first lockdown back in March 2020 I transferred all my existing students to online teaching with immediate affect. Since then I have mainly stayed online only teaching a few face to face sessions in the summer when restrictions allowed indoor mixing of different households. I have found that my online teaching has been very effective and I've seen the same, or in some cases more progress in students since going online. I've also managed to expand the business and take on several new students in the last year.
