I am a 28 year old musician/songwriter/producer based in the Milton Keynes area. I graduated from music school in 2015 with a diploma in popular music performance with a focus on the guitar. I have also completed my Grade 8 exams in both instrument and theory.

Guitar Lessons
I have found Harrison to be extremely relaxed, and clear in his approach to teaching. I am already feeling loads more confident in my ability, even after my very first lesson with him! I've always struggled with timing but, Harrison showed me a few different techniques and concepts that have changed my guitar playing, to a point where I am inspired all over again and, I can't wait for each lesson now. Harrison has been absolutely fantastic. He is very patient with a beginner like me, and also very encouraging. I appreciate that he takes time to understand your specific needs and interests, and then tailors the lesson with a great degree of personalization.

I started with the rock project where Harrison took / taught us over 12 weeks with a gig at the end over that time I got better on the guitar built confidence and enjoy my guitar now more than ever before since then I have continued learning with him with lessons working on acoustic stuff as well as continuing on the electric guitar

I'm very flexible with my approach to tuition. I understand that not everybody learns in the same way.
I think the grading systems are a brilliant way to progressively increase your understanding of the instrument and musical knowledge simultaneously. I would especially recommend this approach for younger students who are looking to start from basics.
However, I know that not everyone is interested in earning grading qualifications, and just want to learn how best to play your favourite songs. This is a good fun approach, in which you can improve your skills in a relaxed environment.
