We adopted a little dog who was anxious and had other problems. Fern has worked with us to overcome these problems. The result is a much calmer, loving little dog. Had it not been for Fern's help and support we may have thought about handing our sweet little dog back. Her kind, calm understanding of a dog's behaviour and the advice she has given has been crucial in working through the problems. Fern is just amazing! We can not recommend Fern enough! Her knowledge is incredible and her training methods are gentle and positive so dog and owner get a really good connection. Instead of forcing the dog to make him do something she lets him work it out himself. Her thinking dog method is great! amazing services. Had big problems with both my Labradors. I could not walk my one year old at all due too him always pulling and dragging me down the street. Just after three lessons he is walking perfect.my 10 month old needs abit more work due too been very nervous and stressed but he is a lot better behaved now fern showing me what too do. I had the pleasure of learning from fern when I completed a canine behaviour course with Animal Jobs Direct. I was impressed by her modern and ethical dog training methods that are always force-free and fear-fee. She uses positive reinforcement training methods which creates a rewarding connection between dog and owner alongside creating a sense of calmness with even the most anxious rescue dogs. Fern is patient, dedicated and her training is easy to follow and delivered in plain terms. Most importantly, she works with both the dog (or in my case, a horse) and owner and finds how they work together to develop the best plan for them. Her training is force free and centered around ensuring that we learn not to force our animals into situations that will ultimately affect them in a negative way.
