I was in London (High Barnet) on holidays. On the 18th of August i had a very strong pain on my teeth. I called and visited the clinic where i got a very good care! !! It is not possible to recommend this dental practice highly enough! Due to other health issues I have not taken good care of my teeth for years and I had a lot of anxiety about getting them sorted out. My first consultation with Avni went a long way to dispel those fears. Everyone involved in the first stage of my treatment (Avni, Binisha, Sally and Besara) were exceptionally kind, understanding, supportive and professional. I even had a follow up phone call from Sally today to check I am ok - how many dental practices do that? I have had 5 visits since February 2019 and I have to say the service and care taken by the entire team is exceptional. From the warm, friendly receptionist who always greets you with a smile to the highly skilled Hygienist, Banisha and Dentist, Avni. They have looked after me every step of the way (including a full tooth extraction for which I did not require any ongoing painkillers after the anaesthetic wore off). Pain - free filling! Like most people, I've never been fond of going to the dentist and hearing I needed a filling filled me with dread. Yet it needn't have. In Dr Avni Samani's safe and capable hands, I didn't feel any pain at all, and didn't require any painkillers whilst I had my filling done. I recently registered at Hampden Dental Clinic and was seen by Dr Samani. The dentist is extremely professional and went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and at ease. I had a tooth removed and was anxious that it would be painful during and after the procedure but this was not the case at all, I was so surprised that I was in no pain at all. Dr Samani listened to all my concerns and explained in detail the whole procedure in very easy to understand terms.The receptionist is very warm and welcoming too. If you are nervous about visiting a dental surgery, then please try Hampden Dental Practice. From the minute you walk through the door and are greeted with a warm smile by their lovely receptionist, through to the principal dentist and her dental nurses you are put at ease. The dentist is a consummate professional who always has the patient’s interests at the forefront of any treatment. Importantly she listens to any concerns or fears and allays them using an easy manner and understandable language. She is also genuine and kind with a lovely sense of humour.The nurses are experienced, efficient and extremely approachable. Nothing is ever too much trouble. They are consistently understanding and sympathetic and manage to create a calm atmosphere which is no small feat at a dentist!The hygienist is also excellent and very thorough. I have never experienced a sore mouth after one of her treatments.The whole surgery has a family atmosphere and goes out of its way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed.I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone. Having been a “dentist avoider” for most of my early twenties, I was absolutely delighted to find such a lovely local dentist that I have been regularly visiting every 6 months for the past 2 years. The practice is clean and welcoming and the staff treat you with the utmost professionalism, always making sure that you are comfortable when you are there - they can’t do enough! I especially love having the air flow treatment. It always leaves my teeth feeling and looking extremely clean and I have many compliments about my pearly whites post a visit to Avni! I am always greeted with a smiley face whenever I visit Hamden Dental Care. The surgery has a relaxed, fun atmosphere, unlike any other doctor or dental surgery I have ever visited! At my last appointment I had to have a tooth taken out. Not only was the process painless but I was talked through every step of the process so I understood what was going on and felt in control of what was happening.
