I am a studio-based portrait photographer, I take pictures of people. I shoot fashion, look book, e-commerce, model portfolios, headshots, family portraits, bands and performers, I also shoot products and architecture.
My huge creative Space is inside an old cotton mill in Stockport, imagine a cross between a New York loft apartment and an old Russian ballet school, it is an Aladdin's cave of backdrops and props and is blessed with an abundance of beautiful natural light and cool features!

The venue- the mill offers you a variety of options for your photo shoot. This is great if you plan on traditional ones as gifts but wish to have some funky modern ones for yourself. The huge windows make for a great frame to some dramatic images. With ample props you won't run short of ideas.There is a separate changing area with mirrors and sockets should you wish to take various clothing etc.The photographer- Jim is an excellent photographer who will make you feet comfortable in the surroundings. He is open to your ideas but also offers some great suggestions should your imagination be limited. Great with kids and makes the experience worthwhile. I hate having my photograph taken but needed some professional photos for my business website. Jim organised a wonderful makeup artist for me and spent a lot of time making me feel comfortable and relaxed. He even made me laugh in front of a camera!
