I needed a wooden fence repaired that had become badly damaged by a tree which had pushed back on the fence and made the side gate unclosable. I got in touch with HR Contracts and Hugh, the owner, contacted me later that night. He came out the following day to survey the job and gave me a price and gave me a date and time he could start and he arrived exactly on time as promised. Hugh did a fantastic job and explained exactly what he was doing and why. He worked the 1st day for 7 hours without even taking a break. He was friendly and helpful and had all the tools, materials and knowledge for the job. When finishing there was quite a bit of tidying up to do of concrete dust, soil etc and Hugh power washed the whole area down and apart from the fence being repaired the area around it looked exactly as it was before he started the job. Hugh was working close by and agreed to call same day, to assess cost and agree a date as to when the work could be completed. The quote was satisfactory and Hugh arranged to call 4 days later. My fence blew down during recent storm. I posted an add for a quote to fix it. Hugh contacted me immediately and I sent him a photo of the damage. He gave me a quote and arranged a date the following week. Hugh rang me the following day . Due to the inclement weather he had to change his plans and my job could be done straight away.
