What an excellent and efficient experience!We asked GTB to help us on a Man in a Van basis. My own experience of that situation is you get inexperienced workmen and people who want to string it out as long as people to get more money! We’ll Gareth & I had agreed on the price, GTB wanted a minimum of 4 hours and the balance at an hourly rate.They got stuck in from the 1st minute they arrived. They had all the equipment & moving know how to make our move efficient and less traumatic than it already was. My wife and I recently moved from Leicestershire to Scotland.We had 3 quotes for our house move, and although these guys weren’t the cheapest, they were the most professional. Being such a long distance move it was carried out over a couple of days. On moving day Gareth, Pete and Andy all turned up, (smart, friendly and polite I may add) and made light work of loading our property.During the move they used a range of removal blankets and very posh padded covers for my sofas, mattresses and TVs etc, which were just amazing.From the initial visit, I got a feeling that GTB we’re going to be great, no pushy sales tactics, no lengthy sales patter, just a 5 minute chat about themselves and services/products they provide, there a small firm but can cope with any size move, and My wife and I were delighted with our move. Excellent “all round”My wife and I were looking for a removal out, storage and local removal in service.GTB carried out a home visit, assessed our needs, explained in detail their offering and followed up quickly with a competive quote. Excellent service! After our completion date was moved several times we lost the original company that had quoted for our move. Found GTB who were quick to quote and confirm availability which relieved some stress. The day of the move the team were there on time and completely professional throughout. Waited for the keys to be released without pressure and then unloaded exactly in to the rooms we needed - the whole process of moving in to our new house was made much more enjoyable by having these guys supporting. :) More...

We used GTB for our house move in May and received a fantastic service from start to finish. Gareth and the team worked extremely hard to ensure the day went as smooth as possible. We used the full packing service too which was excellent and took all the stress out of moving. Not a single thing was broken or damaged and all packed beautifully! The whole team was very polite and friendly and although not the cheapest (and not the most expensive!) of all the companies we looked at I got a great vibe from them and I wasn’t wrong! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for this service. We actually lost a coffee cup in the move but I emailed Gareth and a few weeks later this was found and returned to us from one of the boxes we had given back to them which we thought was empty! A fantastic professional service from GTB from start to end.Convenient appointment for the valuation (the only company to turn up to the appointment on time as well! ), and competitively priced.It took us a long time to actually fix down a completion date with our chain, and Gareth showed lots of flexibility (and patience!) in re-arranging a number of times. Great communication throughout.On the move day, the van turned up exactly on time, and Gareth and Rich worked incredibly efficiently to get the van loaded, working around us as we finalised last minute packing. Little input needed from us, but again great communication.Unloading was equally efficient, with the guys showing lots of initiative, even correctly placing in rooms the items which we hadn't clearly labelled (they seemed to have kept a mental map of the room where each box had been picked up from in the old house!).No damage to either house or our stuff.Finally, really great guys to spend a day with! We used GTB services for a house move into rented and from rented to a brought property. It was a hectic time but the guys where fantastic, very friendly, professional and great willingness to accommodate your needs. We are currently using a lock up storage unit too, which are clean and have easy access to. I've never written a review before but I was so impressed with the service provided by Gareth and his team I thought it was the best way to thank them. I contacted GTB just one week before our scheduled move after losing confidence in our first choice of local removal company. From the initial phone call I felt in good hands, Gareth was very polite and professional on the phone and he arranged to come and visit a few days later to look at how much we were moving and provided us with a quotation the same evening. On moving day they arrived at 7.30am, they covered our cream carpets with protective covers and started loading straight away. By 12:00 the team had completely filled a 42ft long lorry and were ready to travel to our new home. At our new home, once again protective covering was put over the carpets and everything was unloaded and placed in the areas I had requested. Excellent. I used GTB for my house move. I have used firms before however not to the standard of this company. The guys turned up promptly at the time I requested and they were very friendly and polite. I barely got chance to offer them a cup of coffee before they started moving things on to the van. This has to have been the easiest move I have ever had. I was in my new house and unpacking in around two hours which was an amazing achievement.
