About

I'm an Aerospace Engineering student, having been to a Grammar school with numerous years of tutoring experience, yet am still in touch with the needs and processes asked from 11+ and secondary school learning environments.

Q&As

Meeting new students, learning their interests and embarking on a journey to improve their grades whilst enjoying the process of learning!

Having been and still going through tough academic situations (particularly with the impacts of COVID), I thought best to share what I've learnt, my learning techniques, revision methods and general knowledge of pre-university education to help other students excel, who might be in the same shoes I was in not too long ago.

I am not massively older than my students, therefore it is easy for me to connect and understand the academic situations they are going through, reflecting on my own experiences, and therefore create a strong tutor-student bond which will allow for more reinforced learning. Furthermore, I've been through a tough secondary school environment at a Grammar school, therefore have been 'trained' to employ the most efficient and grade achieving methods that there are.

Yes I do, I believe it allows utmost flexibility to all parties involved and I can host through Skype, Google Meet etc.

Services

I offer tutoring services for any levels from 11+ up to secondary school in a range of subjects, focusing mainly in Mathematics and Science.

I am an Aerospace Engineer Bachelor student at a leading university in Europe, with secondary school background at a Grammar school in the UK, and enjoy connecting with students on their journeys through pre-university education reflecting on study techniques I employed and creating tailored learning structures to help each student achieve the best they can.

Furthermore, I've been tutoring for around 7 years now, thus am well versed in preparing for notoriously competitive entrance exams both at 11+ and GCSE. Having recently been, myself, through these exams, I understand the unique pressures faced by my students, whom have achieved excellent entry results. My approach is to identify areas of improvement, address these through demonstration and supervised work, then reinforce the learning areas via revision, structured work and assessment. Sessions can be productive by getting to the root of problems whilst being creative, fun and non-pressurised, which I think makes for a perfect learning environment. I aim that you achieve best grades, but also assess how best you learn, so you are fully prepared for the next steps in school life.
