We have a professional network of tutors who are practising, experienced primary school teachers who can offer individualised tuition in all areas of the Scottish primary Curriculum for Excellence.

What inspired you to start your own business?
The Grampian Tutor Quest was established by a headteacher and an academic at the University of Aberdeen, to address an unmet need for quality home-based primary school tuition across Aberdeen City and Shire. We have built a professional network of tutors who are fully qualified, local practitioners with experience in delivering the Scottish Primary Curriculum for Excellence. The Curriculum for Excellence aims to ensure that all children and young people in Scotland develop the knowledge, skills and attributes they will need 'to flourish in life, learning and work, now and in the future'. The purpose of the curriculum is to ensure that they develop the four capacities to become:
•successful learners
•confident individuals
•responsible citizens
•effective contributors
