The staff especially julie is very knowledgeable and helpful pleasant at all times Mick and Gayle have had this place going for years they have all your needs and if they haven't got it in they will order it for you I have just read a review on here which isn't very nice to sat the least when a member of staff that works at equine retailer in Denham is trying to slander this business which has been going for over 30 years I find it rather underhand I HAVE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE TO ALL OF MY CLIENTS AND FRIENDS ........Thanks team tack shop and co

A great, friendly instructor who teaches you how to ride properly and use your body effectively to communicate with the horse as well as this the horses like the staff are friendly and both are suitable for riders of all abilities. They don't overcharge and provide riding equipment such as helmets and riding shoes for a small fee. I have enjoyed every minute of my lessons here even though it's hard work. More...

I have been riding with GGRS since Oct of last year (2017). I was nervous & anxious as I was returning to riding (I'm a 'mature' student) Chloe and her team made me feel welcomed and relaxed. My first lesson was an assessment of my existing skills. The outcome of this lesson highlighted to me how little I actually knew about riding albeit I had had lessons previously!Chloe however was amazing, we went back to basics:~ Understanding the Horse & Rider partnership. Chloe always communicated in language I would understand (no jargon). Chloe pitched lessons at my pace and we moved on when I had achieved the required standard. I ride weekly, this is something I genuinely look forward to. Chloe always mixes the lesson, so each week is varied even when we work on the same technique! The lesson is fun and I feel confident and safe which I have never been able to say in past riding experiences. GGRS have also gained 5 stars from me due to how I have seen them treat their ponies and horses. I ride Amber and she is a true lady. The horses are rested and given breaks and when they weather was very hot they were hosed down regularly. In the wet weather they wear wet weather protection, this is not something I have seen at other riding schools. in conclusion I would 100% recommend Goulds Green riding school for all ages as I absolutely love my weekly riding lesson. 48 and a half male beginner. 20 lessons in and making great progress. Instructors are all professional, polite and knowledgeable. Feels like I’m going the right pace for me. Tack shop had everything I needed as a beginner to be safe and get going. Started at the right time aswell as there was a sale on and got a bit off. Great shop with plenty of bargains , the lady in the shop is very knowledgeable and will go out of her way to give you good solid advice when you ask for it, sometimes buying online is not necessarily the cheapest and quickest option, its much better to see the goods in front of you than to order online , not like it and then waste time returning it. They also do a stamp scheme where every £10 you spend you get a stamp when you have filled up your card you get some money off your next purchase. Highly recommend buying from this tack shop. Have ridden at GG for a few years now and have found the staff to be nothing less than brilliant. Instructors in private and group lessons I've done have been very friendly but proffesional and clearly know their stuff. Horses safe but with some that are more 'forward going' for more experienced riders. Hacking excellent. Like this place and the staff so much so that I intened to keep my first horse on livery there next year! More...
