I have always had a passion for gardens which was only aided by a very keen gardening grandfather and a farming father. I was always growing things as a child and this I have managed to continue doing into adult life.
I didn't see a career in gardening as I grew up and studied.

What do you love most about your job?
THe sense of achievement. It is great to actually achieve something and taking on tasks within a garden allows this to happen. Whether it be clearing an overgrown bed, pruning a fogottten shrub, fixing a cotswold stone wall or laying a patio you finish work knowing that you have achieved something. Seeing a result to a hard days work fills me with a great sense of satisfaction and achievement.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I fell into it, I always had a passion for gardening, when I was a Policeman I would have lots of time off during the week. I felt I was too young to take up golf so opted to place an advert in the Nailsworth News to keep me busy and help with the Mortgage payments. The business has developed year on year allowing me to leave the police force to focus on the business.
