Had a course of 3 one hour guitar lessons on plucking techniques.
Great for inspiring me to get back to playing my guitar regularly.
Erin gave plenty of information on the theory of chords, which I had a very limited knowledge of. We worked on my choice of music, one-to-one and I can now play using tabs and am practising daily. A really good 'kick start' and inspiration to continue to progress.

Will never be able to put into words ..(I’ll try briefly though) .. just how absolutely flawlessly fabulous both the “Glasgow music studios” itself is, & the staff who work there are. . just amazingly skilled in their own unique ways musically. Yet they’re effortless professionalism that’s calmly asserted through their open and kind manners on a general day to day basis; is fantastic— maybe, there are other studios people prefer. .. Had a kids pop star experience party at Glasgow music studio. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We took 8 kids. They had a fab time and didn't want to leave the studio. £5 for additional cds is a bit expensive, especially when it's just the disc you get. If you look into putting a picture or cover onto the disc it would feel more professional. All in all we had a great time and they can't wait to come back. More...

So after a hiccup with booking for my daughter's birthday on 30th Dec the studio took full responsibility and offered an upgraded party which we took up on the 4th Feb. The experience for the girls was excellent- the team were all super friendly with the girls and made it a day out to remember. I organised a hen party and bought a deal on Itison for a 2 hour recording session here. We all dressed as Dolly Parton, checked shirts, cowboy boots, big wigs, fake boobs and sang Islands in the stream (quite badly).
Hans and John were absolutely brilliant, really fun and open minded about our slightly weird ideas...even donned a wig and joined in at our request!
They made what was in essence 13 tipsy out of tune females sound pretty damn good and the video was hilarious. The hen said it was the funniest, best surprise and she'll never forget it. I don't think any of us will ever hear that song without giggling again!
Cannot recommend this place highly enough! Great job guys!

I recorded a nine song album here in mid-October, in two five hour sessions, over three days.
I booked and flew down from Shetland at very short notice to record here, after local arrangements fell through, and the staff at Glasgow Music Studios could not have been more helpful and accommodating.
Erin Kelly, the sound engineer, did a great job and really made me feel at ease. She helped me to achieve just the kind of sound I was hoping for. I'd never recorded anything before but really enjoyed the whole process of doing it here. Thanks again!
