Richard from Given Maintenance painted the outside of our house (including windows) and did a brilliant job. As well as being very reasonably priced, he obviously takes pride in his work and we are very happy with the finished result. He arrived and finished on time, and was always quick to respond to texts, which removed any stress out of the process. \r\n\r\nOverall, he was honest, reliable and friendly and did a great job. Our garden was in great need of attention which required a lot of different jobs being undertaken i.e painting decking, fences and sleepers, relaying patio slabs, repointing of front wall and general cleaning of the whole area. From start to finish Richard from Given Maintenance gave a high quality, professional service, at a competitive price. Richard did not scrimp on materials and the outcome of his work is proof of that. Richard is a perfionist and his standard of work is of a high quality. He proved to be honest, trustworthy, reliable, turning up when he agreed the start date, with no missed visits. We cannot recommend Richard highly enough!\r\nWe originally asked him to decorate two bedrooms for us, then at the last minute asked him to paint our lounge as well, which he agreed to do within the same timeframes. \r\nHis attention to detail is excellent but what I was most impressed by was his conscientiousness. One of the bedrooms proved particularly problematic due to some dodgy paint that had been used on the walls in the past. Richard went out of his way to improve the surfaces and applied 6 coats of paint to the walls to get the high quality finish he demands!!!\r\nAs if this wasn't impressive enough he completed the entire job in 4 days.\r\nWe have already asked him to help us out again in the future when we have further decorating work planned.\r\nA gentleman and an excellent tradesman. I had previously used the services of Richard Given and he did such a good job I decided to use him again when I moved to a bigger house in December. He has really transformed my home already and always puts in 100%. He knocked out part of our wall on the driveway and cleaned the drive - it looks brand new! \r\nIn addition to this he has decorated our living room to an exceptional standard. As well as the rating we have given, we would like to add that Richard of Given Maintenance is very professional and friendly and completed the work as required, but went beyond what was expected and made the whole painting and decorating job even better.
