We are a family owned local business based in North Dorset providing transport to local and surrounding communities to most destinations in the UK. We have a fleet of Ford Galaxys, a Mercedes Viano 7 seater , a silver BMW 7 series saloon and a Navy Blue BMW 5 series Estate and will be expanding the fleet this year.

I contacted G&M to organise 2 cars for my daughter's wedding last year ( before lockdown!) and I used the beautiful black cab and the 7 series BMW. Right from my first call to Ruth in the office they couldn't have been more helpful. I went to their offices to see both vehicles first and we discussed what colour ribbons etc to have. They had actually used fresh rosemary and lavender inside the cab on the door handles which was such a lovely touch. My wife and I travelled in the BMW and we had a different set of ribbons. Mike the owner actually drove the Cab , he looked so smart and was so helpful on the day - as we were rather nervous! My daughter had a fabulous day and we will always treasure the memories. I used Gillingham and Mere Cars for my airport collection. My flight was delayed by 4 hours and I arrived at midnight instead of 8 so I was very worried and stressed out. The driver was not only there waiting for me but he had bought me a coffee and sandwich. He was so kind carrying my bags, very smiley and so nice to me. What do you love most about your job?
We love meeting people from all walks of life travelling for all different reasons.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being brought up in the local area we realised there was a great need for a specialised/capable and most of all reliable private hire, limousine and taxi business
Why should our clients choose you?
Working 365 days a year with a very loyal and experienced driving and administration team we take the time to listen to clients who want specialised services and we personally oversee that the duties are carried out end-to-end and always have a back-up plan in place. That is the nature of our business!

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All our drivers have now had their first vaccinations, we all wear masks , we have reduced capacity in our vehicles, some of our vehicles have screens and EVERY vehicle is cleaned and sanitised in between customers on every occasion.
WEDDING and PROM SERVICE
We discuss everything that you would require to make the transport bespoke for you. We can supply fresh flowers, ribbons, balloons, champagne bucket and glasses, led lighting and different colours to match your outfit and the bridesmaids or Prom dresses. Our London Black Cab driver will more than likely be Mike, our owner and Director who will be suitable suited and booted for you! The vehicles will remain with you for those special photos that make your day fabulous. Ruth and Jilly discuss every detail with you of what you require and we ensure that the quote is acceptable to you. Payment can be before or after the event with only a small deposit required to confirm the booking, again negotiated with each customer to meet their individual needs. Operating 365 days a year we have plenty of availability for you.
AIRPORT and CITY TRANSFERS
We offer 4 seater BMW saloons, 6 seater Ford Galaxys and our 7 seater Mercedes Viano to take you or collect you from the Airport and major cities. We cover Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Bristol, Bournemouth, Southampton, Exeter, London, Bath, Glastonbury, Salisbury, Weymouth, St Ives and anywhere else you choose to go. Our drivers will wait for you and bring you home again if you wish and stay with the vehicle throughout your stay.
RACE DAYS , THEATRE TRIPS AND FUN DAYS
We can supply any vehicle from our fleet of 6 seater Ford Galaxys, BMW 4 seater saloons, a 7 seater Mercedes Viano and , of course, our London Black Cab for those special days. Why not take a picnic with you - (we will do all the carrying ! ) - and make it very special . Our prices are normally based on a one-way trip including any waiting time for the whole event, so not as expensive as you think !
LOCAL TRIPS
We can take your elderly parents and family on regular trips shopping, to and from the doctors/ chiropodists/ dentists and also take your children to school. We are licenced by Dorset Council for school transport and our drivers are DBS checked and First Aid trained , so you will be in very safe hands
