George has helped me gain more confidence in my abilities as a singer. I now always look forward to our weekly sessions, when before it was a real struggle. He is a fantastically patient and attentive teacher, and our move to Zoom has been totally efficient and worthwhile. I would absolutely recommend George as a singing teacher - he is very professional and makes it fun! More...

As a professional in the Musical Theatre industry, I came to George for help in enhancing my technique and releasing vocal tension. I was blown away by his wealth of experience and consequential understanding of singing and performing. George not only helped me master many of the subtleties of singing which I had missed, but his creative perspective gave me the confidence to branch out into new styles of music. Highly recommmend! George is just brilliant. I found him through a friend a few years ago and every lesson since the start has been informative and inspiring! I came to George eager to learn how to sing, without any idea how to; in fact, I was a little shy! George made me feel so at ease and has an amazing structure to his lessons. With his excellent piano skills, he was able to teach me enough to accompany myself whilst singing - something I now do on the daily. I have recently taken up Piano lessons with George as well and I love them. From my shy self 4 years ago, to an audition coming up for the Voice (fingers crossed!); I have no one to thank but George. Thank you George! More...

Q&As

I love to share my passion and meet new people from across the Globe. I am proud that my studio consists of students diverse in culture, age, ethnicity and musical interest. Its due to my particular teaching method that I enjoy being able to watch students grow and make music to the best of their ability. Seeing how musical achievement is linked to personal confidence is the greatest reward - my students pursuing musical excellence grow as people when they grow as musicians.

I have been very lucky with the musical tuition I received. Too many students have their musical individually stamped out when teachers desperately pile on the technique. My studio and teaching method values technique but ensures each student is treated as an individual and the learning process is tailored to the student’s ability and needs.

Singing is fun and singing lessons should reflect this! I work with my students to dispel the myths out there about singing and their limitations. I provide a clear path to achieving their singing goals, whether that is performing or simply enjoying singing. My number one priority is to achieve the student's goal. Its extremely important to me that we find their voice and their own sound while developing an expert command of technique. I work collaboratively with the student and guide them through finding confidence and pride in their voice. With my method of practice, students will achieve great results and have great fun.

I teach online via zoom and have done since before the pandemic. Students who I taught in person transition to online in March 2020 and there has been no negative effect on their progress or enjoyment.

All lessons are conducted on zoom allowing risk free learning.
