I love to blend traditional styles with a modern, cool edge. I am passionate about period buildings, art and design and this gives me a rich source of ideas. Every client and every building is different and for me this is the best bit - finding the balance that suits each project, honours the space and delights my clients.

Working with Gemma on this project helped take the stress out of this large renovation and got me to view the house as a whole rather than looking at one thing at a time. Everything was really clear and organised which helped a lot with the builders. Gemma had great ideas and a lot of creative solutions which really helped me get the most out of my budget. Everyone who visits has such lovely things to say. I am so delighted with the outcome and still can’t quite believe this is my house! More...

I approached Gemma for help designing my sitting room. I already had some ideas of what I wanted which Gemma really helped me develop. She gave me the confidence to take things further with colour and styles. She understood what I needed and I’m delighted with the outcome. I later went back to Gemma for further help with my hallway - she had some really creative and practical ideas as to how to transform a relatively dark space into a welcoming entrance for my home. Would definitely recommend! More...
What’s your interior design process?
All my interior designs follow the same robust process which ensures the optimum result. This is:
1) Initial consultation - price proposal agreement - full client interview
2) Research and concept design (the 'concept' is our design direction)
3) Design development where we develop the initial concept into a full design ready for implementation
4) Procurement and implementation
5) Finishing and styling.
I am very happy to guide clients the full way through this process or only part of the way - the aim is for me to adapt to your needs rather than impose

What do you love most about your job?
Seeing my clients delighted with the outcome - it gets me every time.
Full service design
This is the traditional model, a hands on and complete service including concept design and development, detail design and construction drawings, procurement and project delivery.
E-Design (online interior design)
E-Design or online interior design, is also a full design process but as this is a cost saving model I do it remotely, handing over floor plans, a choice of colours, finishes and furnishings and a shopping list to leave the getting it all done with you. Things like video calls or (if local) a site visit can be added into the package if you wish.
Consultancy
Consultancy services suit clients who want to only have help in key areas, such as with colours. Design 1-2-1 meetings are also an option, to discuss your ideas and get professional input.
