Hi, My name is Gavin Elson, and my aim is to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.
I don't believe in 'quick fix' methods, so won't guarantee you will lose 14lbs in the first 2 weeks... rather I look to educate clients around everything involved with optimizing their health.

Q&As

My approach to optimum fitness is using whichever type of training fits best with the client. If you want to lose weight but hate running, then we will look at other options so you will enjoy the time we spend together, whilst also achieving your goals. If you have an injury or can't do certain exercises, we will work around that and fit the workout to you as an individual!

In my opinion, the body of your dreams comes from creating the lifestyle which compliments that body. You need to think, act, and live like the person who would have this body. Creating lifestyle changes and implementing healthy habits wil make it much easier to work towards the body of your dreams!

Everyone knows the basics of what they need to do for fitness, they generally know the basics of what they need to eat and not eat... what really makes the difference is having someone who can encourage and motivate you, as well as hold you accountable for your goals and targets. I have worked with a diverse range of people all over the world, coaching fitness as well as extreme sports, so have developed a strong sense for reading people, knowing how hard they need to be pushed, and what motivates them. I also study psychology and the power of habits, so I am able to help you create new positive habits, new patterns of thinking, and essentially a new way of being which will set you up to win! With the right mindset in place, motivation will be less important as you rely on habits to keep you on track.

Yes - I can either write a tailored program for you to follow, with regular check-ins designed for you to ask any questions and keep you accountable. Or I can offer a bespoke 1-2-1 PT session via Zoom so you can workout from the comfort of your own lounge or garden!

1-2-1 Personal training available from a fully equipped studio gym in Charminster.

These sessions are bespoke to you and your goals - whether you want to get fitter, lose weight, tone up, or train for an event, we will work together to create a fun experience. My goal is for you to look forward to training, understand why we are doing what we are doing, have the nutritional knowledge to complement your training, and develop a love for the process! Any questions or requests feel free to shoot me a message or call any time!

Using an intuitive smartphone app, I can offer bespoke training plans, nutritional guidance, and fitness/lifestyle tips, as well as habit tracking options to help you achieve your goals and keep you accountable. This option is great for anyone who is either not close to the Poole/Bournemouth area for private 1-2-1 training, or people who are happy motivating themself to train but would like more ongoing guidance, support, and personalised updates on how to get the most out of their training and nutrition. Using the app, I am contactable any time with questions or concerns, and I can tailor all aspects of the programme to suit the client. Think of this as having your very own coach in your pocket, any time of the day, enabling you to just embrace the process and look forward to the results!
