I had a couple of queries, one regarding my daughter's laptop where she had cracked the casing and another regarding an external hard drive. I contacted Darren by messenger and the communication was excellent, including directing me when I got lost taking the laptop too him!! Amazing service and cannot recommend enough. In less than 24 hours, it had been confirmed that a replacement screen for my laptop was in stock, my laptop had been collected from my home address, fixed with a photo sent to me, an invoice sent so I could make payment, and I'd had it dropped back to me! Darren was able to identify the problem with my computer during my first phone call to him. He came to my house the same day, checked it over and took it away and returned it the very next day with all problems solved. I found Darren’s company via a google search and gave him a call to discuss the problem of fixing an external hard drive which would not turn. Darren came round and collected the drive from my house and said he would contact a few specialist companies in data recovery as opening up drives needed to be done in laboratory conditions to ensure no data is lost. This was done on a “no win no fee” basis which was great as most companies charge £50 to just have a look even if no data is recovered. The first company were unable to recover any data so Darren tried another specialist who also provided a no win no fee policy. After updates from Darren I was delighted to hear that all data from the drive had been recovered and transferred onto a USB stick, which was a great relief otherwise years of family photos would have been lost. I liked the reviews online for Gatwick Computers so got in touch via Email on a Sunday evening, Darren replied the same night saying he would call the next day. He did, he repaired my old laptop in record time and explained everything, couldn't be more impressed if I tried, Darren even returned my laptop to me at home to ensure it was set up correctly and that I was happy, extremely. I could not recommend Darren of Gatwick Computers more highly. I had searched online for a local IT specialist to replace the battery on my MacBook Air laptop. A couple of local firms were charging a ridiculous amount to do this and would have taken a few days to do it. Darren charged a very reasonable price, picked up my laptop at end of play and delivered it back to me the next day, which was a Saturday! This meant I wasn't without my laptop for any working time, which is very important to me. I would thoroughly recommend Darren for a friendly, professional and efficient IT service. More...
