Brilliant photographer, amazing images. My now husband and I travelled over from Germany to marry in Scotland. We used video calls to run through our day with Gary, he was recommended by a friend who is also a photographer and we'd also seen him in some wedding magazines we had bought. Gary was the only photographer that made us feel special and important from the very start. He came out to see us (none of the others we spoke to even offered! ). He is a really lovely guy and wanted to get to know us so he could tell our story through his stunning photos. we got married once Sicily and he came out a few days before to get to know the area, the sun set locations, the venues and our guests. He captured the most amazing photos of us the day before the wedding, throughout the getting ready stage and all through the day and night. He bought his drone, loads of cameras and lenses and even some new tech that made some awesome videos. We didn’t want too many staged photos, we just wanted to enjoy the day and have some “in the moment” photos. Have a look at our blog Gary kindly wrote to see some of the amazing snaps he got. Gary did a fantastic job with our wedding photos, we absolutely love them! His approach at telling the story of your day, rather than focusing on the set portrait shots, meant that looking through our album really felt like we were reliving our day! It was so lovely to see so many of our favourite moments captured in the photographs.
Gary also braved arctic temperatures to get some really beautiful outside shots - we are amazed he managed to feel his fingers or toes after the unexpected minus 8 degree winds. Toby and I couldn’t find anybody local that we clicked with or had the same look we were after for our wedding. Photography was absolutely key for us, we are travelling photographers ourselves and have a good idea what decent photograph should be. Natural yet creative was our request. Gary was just superb! From integrating with our friends and family to the quality of his work. He works so hard during the day we now understand why wedding photographers cost so much, it's not just 1 days hard work lol. He was able to point us to his blog where he shares tips which are great, some I already knew but some were gold and really helped with the flow of our day.

Not only does Gary produce gorgeous work (I know as I’m a photographer myself), he is completely hands on with everything else too! Even took my Mum and Dads luggage in his car because there was not enough space in his. Was amazing with all the kids, he was like a Pied Piper by the end of the night. When you can multitask like this as a professional photographer and still produce magazine standard imagery you know you have found the right one. We were recommend Gary by 2 friends who had also booked him to photograph their weddings and I seen him in action before so already knew how he worked. Super lovely guy to have around with such a talent for creating such beautiful weddings images, some of which we had no idea he was taking.

Choosing a photographer was such a big decision for us as we weren’t sure what to look for, it’s not just about photos (coincidentally his are amazing) we don’t like al that in your face stuff. We had no idea what to look for in a wedding photographer who does? We searched and searched, met with a few but didn’t click. It was important for us to have somebody who has experience at our wedding and that would integrate and make us feel as ease.
