Gary did our wedding photos for us he was amazing!! We met him before hand and he made sure he knew what we wanted and photos we wished to get on our day, he didn’t stop all day he was incredible, so helpful and our photos are lovely we were also kept up-to date with everything via email from Rachael which was so nice and put your mind at ease . We booked Gary for our son's Christening after a recommendation. I am so glad we did, he was very professional and friendly. The Christening was cut a bit short and we had to leave the church, so I was concerned that we didn't get enough photos of the day. I didn't need to worry as Gary had captured lots of great photos in the time that we had. I would highly recommend him and would definitely book again. More...

We met Gary when he was doing photos for a friends wedding, we loved our friends photos and how relaxed he made us all feel especially when our kids wouldn’t cooperate for the wedding pictures (he still managed to get a good shot) 😅 so we chose Gary James photography for our sons birthday cake smash and splash . This is 100% the best photography service I have ever used. Gary is very friendly, funny and patient. He made me and my family feel very welcome in his studio, our little boy was teething and a little grumpy but nothing was a bother and Gary had so much patience with us all. We never felt rushed or under pressure to get our son to smile or pose, the photos were outstanding and a very fair price as well. The thing that I found different with Gary James Photography was how much they care, when I booked the cake smash I was sent a list of questions asking about food allergies or sensitive skin, there was a couple of options when it came to bubble bath for the splash afterwords and I was really pleasantly surprised by that, you can tell Gary and Rachael are parents and care about getting it right for your little ones experience with them. My partner has a lot of anxiety about coming along to things like this and doesn’t usually enjoy them or speak much, but he got on that well with Gary that I couldn’t shut him up 🤣 he also commented afterwards how much he enjoyed it. Gary was so professional and so patient with us on settling our little one! He spoke us through everything at the start and the overall experience was very relaxed. Where do I start?! Gary was absolutely amazing as our wedding photographer. I’m so glad we found him because the day really wouldn’t have been the same without him. From bridal prep right up to the evening reception, he was on form! Gary really took the time to understand what we wanted for our day and, despite the fact we’ve only seen a preview of our photos, we’re beyond happy with them so far. My partner and I were looking for someone to do a maternity photoshoot because I spent most of my pregnancy stuck indoors (lockdown🙄) but everyone I was being recommended was cheap for their shoots but we're asking for anything between £400-£700 for all of my photographs to be shared with me🤯. Being on furlough since December I just couldn't afford this kind of money but I happened to remember that Gary done an amazing photoshoot for a friend so I dropped him a message and got booked in.. the day of the shoot we arrived and Gary couldn't have been more welcoming. Our shoot was absolutely amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect as I've never had a phtotoshoot before but wow. Gary was so professional, he captured the most amazing images, the amount of images we received (and how quickly we received them) was absolutely fantastic especially for the price we paid overall😍. And I can almost guarantee that the service, professionalism and overall experience was definitely better than your average photographer. We recently were gifted a photoshoot elsewhere and the experience wasn't even on par than what we received from Gary at his own studio. And the shoot we were gifted, we still had to pay over £150 for 17 of our 50+ images (which we had to chose and the ones we couldn't afford were completely deleted) and almost a week later we are still waiting for out images, Gary had them to us within 24 hours. Absolute no brainier who we will be going to for out next photoshoot!! And we already canmot wait😁! Cannot recommend Gary enough!! Gary captured the most beautiful images of our 5 month old little boy. We are absolutely delighted with all the photos and couldn’t believe he was able to get such perfect shots considering our little one hardly stays still! ! I had been disappointed to have missed out on all the newborn photo shoots due to lockdown but I actually love these even more as they show how my little boy is now that his personality has come to life.
