You cannot see electricity. Cables are usually hidden inside our walls, and consumer units are often hidden in cupboards, so it is not surprising that we forget to check the condition of our electrical installation for damage or wear and tear.

With more and more devices requiring electrical power, it is often the case that most rooms just don't have enough socket outlets. Whether it's an IP rated outdoor socket for the lawn mower, or a socket to go behind a TV on the wall to avoid trailing wires.
We can offer advice on the most efficient way to get the power to an outlet you can use.

From the addition of spotlights to bring a modern feel to a room, to the addition of security lights in the garden for peace of mind (and for the dog to navigate the garden of an evening!), it is rare that the lighting in one house will suit all the needs of the occupants.
With many styles to choose from, we can supply & fit, or simply install a fitting you already have.

Tripped circuits or blown fuses can occur at any time, leaving you without lights or power.

An initial inspection of accessories will be carried out to check for loose connections, signs of burning or moisture. If no obvious faults are detected we will proceed to carrying out in-depth electrical fault finding using calibrated electrical test equipment. If remedial work is required to reinstate power or rectify the fault at hand, a report will be issued detailing the work required.
