I've known Megan for over 3 months now and words cannot express how lucky I've been to have her look after my two cockers.
I've miraculously found her after struggling for MONTHS with daycares where they did not seem to have enough fun but actually came home stressed and hungry. When I mention her name my dogs go ballistic and don't mind when I leave them in the morning because they KNOW Megan will be coming at lunch. My female dog NEVER kisses anyone. Except Megan.
Megan is sweet, reliable, patient and, above all, LOVING. Every-time I get home after they've been out with her for a walk, my dogs are calm and happy because they've spent time playing and being cuddled by her. Not only that, but she also carries around a first aid kit in case they get hurt. And that is mind-blowing, as it gives me the pace of mind that I need, since one of my dogs likes to slash his paws randomly every year. Megan looks super young but she is professional, caring and patient, which I think are essential traits when needing someone to look after your loved ones. Rest assured that Megan will look after your dogs with the same care and love you show them. And above all, she's fun, has first aid training, sends updates on her walks or indoor time and is trustworthy. Definitely recommend!!!!!

Megan from Galaxy Hounds has been walking my two Dachshunds for a few weeks now. Being self employed I was finding it hard to give them the time out of the house they deserved. What do you love most about your job?
Seeing all the different shapes, sizes and personalities of the dogs and gaining their trust. It is top priority that EVERY dog feels safe and comfortable in my care.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Dogs have always been a great love of mine since I was young. I have had the pleasure of studying them for 6 years now. My main interests are behaviour and welfare. Having these qualifications allows me to provide the best for my clients and really understand a dog's needs. I want to help others with their furbabys and who doesn't love sloppy dog kisses!

I pride myself on giving the highest standard of care to my clients. I am able to do this by having the knowledge and experience that my animal qualifications have given me. I am still expanding my knowledge through studying for my BSc degree in animal behaviour and welfare. With these experiences and qualifications, not being a requirement for dog walking services, I can deliver high standards to dogs in my care.
I am also canine first aid & CPR trained. Here at Galaxy Hounds, we treat your furbaby with the utmost love and respect that they deserve.
Group walk (3 dogs max) £12.50 per dog
Exercise is so important for our dogs. Not only does it provide physical stimulation but mental stimulation too, which enriches our dog's welfare. Here at Galaxy Hounds, are aim is to provide your dog with stimulating and engaging walks tailored to your dog's needs. Whether your dog loves to get muddy or likes to keep their paws clean, a walk with Galaxy Hounds will take them on an intergalactic adventure. We provide extra treats for this service.
1-2-1 Walks
30mins is £10.00
1hr is £18.00
2hrs is £25.00
£4.50 per extra dog for the above

House Vists
£15.00 for 1hr

Don’t feel guilty about leaving your dog alone. Galaxy Hound's home visits give your dog maximum care, even when you can’t be there. A home visit may be needed to let your dog out for a wee, puppies that can't go on walks yet or for company. We provide extra cuddles for this service.
Puppy Packages
I mean who doesn't love puppy cuddles!
Puppies are such a great addition to the family, they bring so much love and joy but can be challenging. Here at Galaxy Hounds we support your puppy at all their stages of growth and development, from a tiny 10-week-old puppy to the testing adolescence stage. We adhere to any training that you have been doing and most importantly give your puppy all the love, fun and care they deserve.
