What do you love most about your job?
Helping customers to create the vision they have for their gardens is a very satisfying feeling. Being out and about in all weather means my work environment changes every day, can't beat it!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have owned my own businesses since I was 24 years old, I would not have it any other way.
Why should our clients choose you?
With over 20 years hands-on experience in gardening and growing-your-own, I am also RHS educated so have a knowledge of plants, growing conditions, pests and diseases.
My main area of specialism is organic where my aim is to help garden owners convert to an organic and chemical-free way of gardening. The result is a garden which is better for their health, the health of the plants and the local wildlife.
Garden Maintenance
My gardening services are tailored to your individual needs and priced accordingly. The majority of my clients prefer a fixed monthly fee where they will receive several gardening tasks completed on a regular monthly, bi-monthly or weekly visit.
These visits can include mowing, lawncare, border weeding, garden design advice, planting, hedge trimming, pruning and training or soil improvement.
Organic vegetable plot design and creation
Everyone should know the pleasure of growing and eating their own vegetables and fruit. There is no simpler or more delicious connection between us and the power of nature to sustain us. From a practical standpoint, with the recent coronavirus pandemic, many of us realised just how dependent we are on supermarkets and the commercial food chain, with unprecedented sales of vegetable seeds and plants that people could grow in their own gardens.
If you have a desire to grow more food in your garden, I have twenty years of experience growing organic vegetables on allotments and in cottage gardens. My vegetable plot design and creation service includes organic growing advice, raised bed creation, soil preparation, planting windbreak hedges and supplying plants.
