Sarah and her assistant, Gwen have been walking ‘Happy’ every morning for over 4 months, ever since ‘Happy’ moved over from Cyprus with his mum, who's my mum. My mum moved back to the UK due to health reasons. Happy's a labradoodle cross, rather an old boy who can be a bit stubborn but very lovable. Happy loves his walks out with the girls, and it’s always great to hear about his adventures out with them. He has settled so well into his new environment and it's lovely to see him enjoying his walks at the grand old age of 12. It's a pleasure chatting to your Mum too. Having had a bad experience with a cat sitter previously we had been reluctant to employ another to look after our cat Minka. Therefore my mother in law was tasked with this when we went away, however due to poor health she was unable to. We identified Sarah from Furry Little Rascals and found her to be genuinely compassionate, caring and professional regarding animal care. Sarah visited Minka daily whilst we were away, it was very clear that Minka trusted Sarah and appeared comfortable, loved, and maintained in his routine. We were able to witness this from the daily updates from Sarah; videos, photos and messages which is extremely reassuring. Sarah also kindly picked up our post, emptied the bin on the last day and generally kept our house tidy.

We highly recommend FLR and will definitly have Sarah again when away. Sadly very recently our dog passed away, I can honestly say that I would have entrusted my dogs care with her also without hesitation or doubt! More...

Thank you so much for your lovely review, Veronica. Minka is such a handsome boy and it was an absolute pleasure looking after him. Every day we became a little closer... and by the end of your holiday he was snuggling up on my lap, purring contently. Losing a companion can be very upsetting and unsettling. I felt it was important to give Minka space to grieve. And yet every morning he greeted me at the door and engaged with me affectionately - even after he'd been fed :) Needless to say, we'd love to look after Minka any time you need us.... and once the wounds heal and if you consider getting another dog, we're here for you too. xx

Sarah and Gwen took great care of our cat, and kept us updated with texts and photos.
They also had a very thorough and professional approach to the paperwork side of things.
Thoroughly recommended!

Hi Tim, thank you so much for your kind words. We like to take special care of our elderly clients, knowing that some of them can get a little distressed if their routine suddenly changes. We couldn’t recommend Sarah and the team at Furry Little Rascals more highly. We are quite new too the area and with us both working from home full-time we really wanted To find someone to take our beautiful Samson (yellow lab) out and about during the day when we can’t. We all fell in love with Sarah immediately. She’s amazing with Samson and he is a handful! (9 months and 40kg!) She walks him 3 times a week and when our door bell rings he knows ‘his’ Sarah is here to take him out. He goes absolutely crazy....it is possibly one of the funniest things we have seen!! We have had such a great experience using Furry little rascals. Sarah is so calm and patient with my over active frenchie!
Reggie is going through some training atm to try and calm him down with other dogs and so he doesn’t pull so much on the lead. Sarah was really helpful with this and hopped on board straight away to carry on his training when they walk. This is defiantly what you need from a dog walker!
She goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs Reggie thoroughly enjoys his walks with her!
She is really reliable and I have often changed times / days last minute.
I would highly recommend using this company - your pets will definitely be in safe hands! More...

I was looking for someone reliable to look after our two cats whilst we were away, I really wanted to keep them in their own home to avoid stressing them out in a cattery. Sarah got in touch the same day my ad was posted and she was so professional from start to finish. Sarah came to meet the cats at home in PPE and to discuss our’s and the cats needs.
Straight away I felt at ease and that the cats would be fine. Sarah was very warm and friendly and you can instantly see that she was very passionate about what she does.
Whilst we were away we received daily pictures and updates. Sarah didn’t just feed them and then disappear, she went above and beyond to ensure they were happy and healthy. When we arrived back home both cats were very happy and content (although a slight look of disappointment when they realised it wasn’t Sarah coming through the door 😻)
