Not long after we got our new pup we saw an advertisement for puppy training with Furry Frolics Pet Services. Even though we have had dogs before we thought we would give it a go. So glad that we did! Ellie and her team were amazing, they showed us how easy it can be with positive reward based training. The six week course we took our Gizmo on really was money very well spent!. Ellie always gave very clear instructions and lots of encouragement.If we had any concerns with Gizmo she was always more than happy to offer advice.We feel that it's not only Gizmo that has benefited but we have as well. We have a much better understanding of how dogs think and how much more fun and rewarding it is to use Ellie's positive reward based training. We were made to feel immediately welcome, we felt like Ellie was genuinely interested to get to know our puppy. Myself, my fiancé Brett and our 15 month old cocker spaniel Willow came and did the recall workshop and loose lead workshops last weekend! The difference in her already using these new techniques is absolutely amazing! I took her for a lead walk to practice during my lunch break and although she took 10 minutes to calm down and stop screeching purely because she wasn’t getting her own way she walked so much better and only pulled a few times! I stayed strong and waited her out and she soon realised if she doesn’t pull me she gets to move!! so glad we came and did both classes now to keep practicing and get her sorted so we enjoy walking her again! I have recently used furry frolics pet service, and have to say Ellie was amazing! She was very professional and made me feel at ease about leaving my 3 dogs and chickens in her care for 5 days.
I had photo updates of my dogs whilst we were away and came home to a nice clean house and 3 happy dogs. I would definatley use this service again and would highly recommend.

As first time owners of a lively working cocker pup, we learnt absolutely loads at Furry Frolics Puppy Training Classes. Ellie and her team are extremely knowledgeable and importantly, also really approachable. The class size was small which meant we all got to know each other really well. We have been going to ellies click and tricks class for some time know. We started going for archie to socialise with other dogs cause he was always unsure with other dogs we have all learnt so much from her and had so much advise as well, any little worries i might have there is always a solution she can advise us with we have even done some outdoor classes to help with recall training for him and with her help had him off the lead with a very good recall. We booked Ellie's Puppy Deluxe Training Package for our Boarder Collie puppy Willow and I can't recommend it highly enough! The group sessions were great for all the basics and essentials, in addition to being brilliant for early socialisation. The one to one sessions have also been really useful in helping us with any specific training needs over time. Ellie is a fantastic trainer and we trust her implicitly with Willlow who gets really excited when she visits. Dog Walking
Group Walk: £10 (only £5 for each additional dog from the same home!)
Individual Walk: £15
For both of the above options, your dog will be collected from your home and taken to one of our walking spots (usually woodland and always away from roads) to enjoy some time playing and exercising. The 45 minutes - 1 hour starts when the walk starts, not when the dog is collected. Afterwards, he or she will be towelled down and dropped back home, where we will ensure they have access to a full water bowl.
The group walk option is perfect for sociable dogs who enjoy the company of others, and puppies who need to be socialised with other dogs. An individual walk is where your dog is alone with the walker. This option is designed for dogs who are not comfortable around other dogs, have very specific needs or are older or injured and therefore need to be walked very slowly etc.
If you are interested in our dog walking service we will arrange a no-obligation home visit and/or walk with you and your dog(s) so we can get to know your dog(s), build trust, and discuss their needs.
