I'm a female qualified Personal Trainer based in Gravesend, Kent. I work with clients to build strength through body weight training, circuit style high intensity training as well as resistance training. I help you set goals to change your body and attitude to training and exercise, either working from your home, a park or a gym. I am also qualified to train pre and post natal clients.

Funmi and I have been friends for a while and I decided to try out her online personal training package after having my second baby. I was inspired by her own fitness journey since having her daughter and wanted to get back into shape myself but knew I wouldn't have much time to go the gym with a toddler and small baby! So she put together a really achievable set of 30-40 HIIT and strength training workouts for me that I could do from home whether the kids are awake or asleep! It's made it so much easier for me to work out at home and also really motivated me as I see my equipment daily and just get on with it! Funmi was very helpful in recommending good quality and affordable gear and checked in with me on a regular basis to see how it was going. She's very knowledgeable about post-natal fitness and adapted my workouts each month to get more challenging as I got stronger. Her app is very user-friendly and allows you to upload progress pictures and your measurements, as well as see a breakdown of all your workouts. Here I am 3 months on back to my pre-baby weight and feeling much fitter and full of energy! My friend has also signed up with Funmi and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to other people too. I have been working with Funmi for a few months now. I wanted a PT to push me in the gym and help build my strength. When I went to the gym I never pushed myself, I always continued with things I knew I could do and left it at that. However since working with Funmi I am enjoying going to the gym especially as I can see a huge difference in my appearance and my strength. She has helped me focus and taught me new things. Before working with Funmi, I didn't really enjoy going to the gym. I didn't know what I was doing or how to use a lot of the equipment. I would sign up, go twice and then end up cancelling my membership. I wanted to work with a personal trainer who was approachable, could get results and keep me accountable. I had been following Funmi on Instagram for a little while and she came across as really relatable and knowledgeable. As a fellow mum, I knew she would understand the time constraints of life and be able to provide the right support. Funmi created me a workout plan which I now follow with ease. She gave advice on nutrition and what to eat and she answers a ton of my questions on our regular Skype calls. Since working with her, I am someone who knows: - works out regularly 3/4 a week and enjoys it! - is eating better and understands things like macros lol - is losing weight consistently as well as lots of other non-scale victories. My boyfriend and I have had personal training sessions with Funmi from LLV for the last couple of months and we've been so impressed by her professionalism, commitment and enthusiasm. We both wanted to work particularly on our upper body strength and have already seen a noticeable improvement in this area as well as general strength and overall fitness. Q&As

We'll work together to set your goals and then constantly review them over the course of your training sessions. All workouts and advise is geared towards helping you reach your goals. You'll receive a workout plan to follow on your own too, which will help to keep you working towards your goals.

Hard work and discipline. You have to work hard during all your training sessions, making gradual progress as well as eat well 70-80% of the time. That means making some sacrifices to achieve your dream body.

Seeing my clients change physically and mentally as well as seeing them achieve things they didn't think possible when they first started training with me.

I am a mother, and this is what truly made me realise the importance of keeping active before, during and well after pregnancy. So much so that I also qualified to work with pre and post natal clients! So, I know what it means to be busy, tired and stressed and have exercise be the last thing on your mind, but I hope that together we can work on weaving it into your life and make it part of who you are!

I have personally tried several programs in the past; shakes, DVDs and classes especially when I wanted to get in shape for a holiday, but that didn’t really stick! It wasn’t until I saw exercise and good nutrition as a lifestyle that it stopped being a chore and started becoming something I genuinely enjoyed.

Exercise shouldn’t be about doing endless hours of cardio or classes that you don’t enjoy. It should form a healthy part of your life.

Services

1-1 sessions allow you to get undivided attention while making sure that your form is correct. Sessions will always be based around your goals, whether it be fat loss, muscle gain, or training for a tough mudder. We start all sessions with a warm up, some stretching, then go into the main part of the session which will be a combination of body weight, resistance and circuit style training. We then end the session with some stretches. Results take time and commitment, so we recommend a minimum of 1 session a week for at least 8 weeks.

I'm qualified to also work with you during and after your pregnancy. I work with you to regain your strength after you have had your baby, by focussing on rebuilding your core. We then get you back to doing the things you love, whether that's running or weight training,
During pregnancy, the focus is on maintaining strength and good posture whilst preparing you for labour.
