I set up my first company in 2008 and while it was a lot of hard work I really enjoyed working for myself. My experience and knowledge gained working for other companies, running their accounts has proved invaluable too. So I decided to set up a new company and offer these services.

Yes. Most bookkeeping services can be done remotely these days.

The main requirement is that I am given access to the accounts software that you are using. Once I have access to this (and most accounts software is cloud based these days) then there is no reason why I can't operate remotely.

Covid-19 is not really an issue at the moment given that we are in 2023. Were it to become an issue then I would follow the protocols recommended.

That said, I can do all of my work remotely so if there were any concerns I could operate remotely and this would keep customers safe.
