What do you love most about your job?
The chance to make a difference in the community. As a previous Primary School teacher, I have more time now to create bespoke learning opportunities to individuals who would like to boost their confidence in English or Maths for KS1/KS2 pupils.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Friendly Penguin Tutoring was an idea at the beginning of 2023, after being inspired by other local start-up businesses. As a qualified teacher, I had the idea to offer face to face tuition in English and Maths for primary aged pupils in my local area - Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
