After several reviews I have read about this agency I would like to share my ugly experience I had with Fresh Start agency. I hope that those who will work with them will be more careful than me and they will not have the same problem. This agency did not pay me around 500£ for 10-12 days of holiday. HMRC told me that I could sue them, but the amount is too small and not worth going that far. But let me start from the beginning: I worked in the UK in the last 9 years. I usually had 2 jobs, one of the jobs being with Fresh Start. They offered me a job for the first few years, I even had a good opinion of them and recommended them to my friends (I liked Mariola, was a nice person), but my last collaboration with them left me with a bitter taste. I worked at Aloga for about 6 months with this agency and one afternoon I had to resign and tell them that I couldn't come to work from the next day because I found an office job with more opportunities. The woman at the agency (a blonde woman with short hair) started screaming on the phone telling me how I could do this and that she would never offer me a job again (a very ugly and unprofessional conversation). Due to the fact that the next day I started a new job with many challenges and responsibilities I simply forgot that the agency has to pay my holidays for 6 months. They didn't do this and when I remembered about this, 5 -6 months later that they had to pay my remaining holiday I called them. They told me that because I didn't ask them to pay me on time, my holiday days had expired, and they wouldn't give me any money. To be honest I didn't know that I had to ask for the money because those was my first years in the UK and it's my fault for that, but still, how many vulnerable people end up working with Fresh Start? I don't think it's professionally ethical to employ people and take advantage of them, when you have the opportunity and to not give them the money they work for. Now I'm doing the same job as them, I'm doing office work in recruitment, and I think I know what they did. Even though they yelled at me that they would not give me any more work, they kept me in their system for my holiday days to expire after a year of employment. Somehow, they "legally" stole the money they should have given me for my work, money that would have helped support my family. When I spoke to HMRC they told me it was illegal what they had done and that they should have close my situation in the system and given me the payment for any outstanding holiday hours I had in my account. IF YOU ARE READING THIS REVIEW, YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT THE AGENCIES HAS TO PAY YOU HOLIDAY HOURS EVEN IF YOU ONLY WORK ONE DAY. USUALLY, IT IS AROUND 12% OF THE HOURS YOU WORKED. Very friendly and professional staff Couldn’t get me the position I was asking for but instead got a better one So far have been treated professionally and respectfully and would highly recommend this agency to anyone They will do their best to find you work and won’t leave you hanging around waiting

Professional staff, was able to find temp work on a daily basis which eventually lead to a full time position in a interesting sector. I had the opportunity to be managed by Rachael who performed her role adequately. Fresh Start are the most efficient recruitment agency I've ever been with and will always be my preferred agency. They've helped me out of one or two sticky spots, in 2019 in particular, and have always been good to me since I joined them in 2017. I've personally interacted with Suzanna, Hannah and Chloe this year who have all been so understanding and helpful throughout me losing my job, to the point where they got me back into full time work within a couple of weeks. I was extremely surprised with how fast the process from seeing an advert, to starting in the job and being paid was. Very pleased with the friendly staff within the office, and I am very impressed with the continuous support texts that I receive from Rachael. Definitely recommend!

Mansfield’s premier employment agency. Having retired once and got bored to my amazement Rachel has been excellent in finding me virtually constant work. All staff are most polite and courteous. Honestly I'm not one to put reviews up because for the most part People put up reviews to complain, but this damn agency really are the worst I wouldn't recommended unless you have no other option, I must have called up a dozen times in the past 6 months (after I have received texts that they have work available for the past 6 months) just for some moody woman to moan "oh we don't really have any work it's a automatic text we send every week" now After speaking with numerous agencies and ex clients with "fresh start"I've heard nothing but bad things , every time I've called after receiving a text claiming they have immediate work always told "my colleague is on a break" so what am I suppose to do turn up with a bunch of skinny latte's from Starbucks just to receive their service Look I could go on because of everything I been told about these careless women but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. ..
