I am a qualified Personal Fitness Trainer based in Solihull West Midlands and train clients either at my gym, in their homes, outdoors or using online sessions and will always try and accommodate my clients' needs.

I can help with injury recovery, weight loss/drop a dress size or two, pre and post natal fitness, body confidence, or training for a specific event.

Excellent facilities available in Solihull. Needs a wider variety of classes to cater for wider community and possibly classes offered for recovery to optimal fitness for people treated by NHS. Also careful monitoring of user standards as signs indicate, to ensure equipment wiped down and responsible use by students. More...

If you want a cheap gym with free parking you might be tempted, but beware of the negatives:- no Sun or Bank Holiday opening- the biggie is that the gym is used by students up to and sometimes after 5. 00 pm - they are not supervised and behaviour can be unbelievable - I've heard of big groups of lads chanting en masse, dangerous misuse of equipment e.g. two at a time on the cross trainer, language, phones, etc. Quite intimidating and really bad PR for the college with more and more external / elderly users. (Surely there is a safeguarding issue here too?)- charge £5 per locker per month even though the changing rooms are full of unused lockers, so every visit you have to cart all your kit with you (unless you pay the £5 which is nearly as much as the membership)- gym is used by various external trainers who sometimes use the area as their personal gym, making loud phone calls, virtually taking over areas, giving loud instructions to their clients which are distracting for others. The temperature is a bit cold, its not a huge one. But:- can train every muscle- equipment is good- place not too crowded- staff is kind- locker room is good- parking is free (huge bonus! )- price is cheapI recommend this gym, give it a try.(visiting after work, so maybe it is crowded sometimes by students during the day) More...

Staff are fairly friendly and helpful but a major downside is that the gym is also used by students. Most of them are reasonably well behaved but if unsupervised they can be noisy and inconsiderate.

There is no "silver bullet" that will give you the body of your dreams, however the right nutrition plan is 70% of the challenge coupled with a realistic training plan for your own specific goals and objectives. Having a trainer gives the accountability most people need to stay on track and achieve their goal! The other key part is regular and often.

I love watching the transformation in my clients, not only in their physical fitness and body shape but in their confidence and how this positively impacts all areas of their lives. I feel like I am making a positive difference in the world!

I was originally an engineer, interested in how things work and this led me on to the human body and how it works. I felt I could impact more people in a positive way by owning and running my own business rather tahn working for a gym who dictated how and who I trained.

I am very experienced and have worked with all types of clients over the past 20 plus years so I understand the mental challenges with starting and maintaining a fitness programme. I adapt to my client's starting position in terms of their current fitness and weight levels and help work on realistic achievable goals that really have a big impact on their lives. I will always make the sessions fun and mix up the training to make sure we push through each plateau as it happens.

Yes, I work with clients using zoom which I developed during the Covid epidemic to help my clients maintain their fitness.

We still use all of the plans that were developed during the pandemic at our own facilities.

Services

Personal Fitness Training 1 on 1 in person, either at my Gym or at a suitable location of your choice. This is booked by the hour.

A remote workout session delivered via Zoom, you will need a suitable device and internet connection.

I will assess your current fitness level and nutrition and we will discuss your goals and objectives so that we can agree a suitable training and nutrition plan that is achievable and realistic.

Initial assessment of your fitness level and injury then a comprehensive report and recommendations to get back to your pre-injury level fitness and beyond.

A comprehensive health and fitness assessment to improve your overall fitness levels safely whilst pregnant or following the birth of your child. A fitness programme is then implemented to give the best results as safely and quickly as possible.
