I recently worked with the guys at Forshaw Media to create a video entitled “Moving Memoirs Dance Project.” The concept behind the video was to use dance as an artistic interpretation of difficult topics, such as bullying which I experienced as a child, and illness (I have a rare brain disorder!
) which can make people feel like they have no control over anything.
Anyway, from my initial email all the way through to completion of the video, Chris was so encouraging towards my ideas and visions. He answered all of my questions, even the ones I thought were silly. Since I’m quite an anxious/nervous person by nature, and I’d never done anything like this before, I had plenty of questions!
On filming day, I felt totally at ease working with them; I’d met Chris before, but all three guys were really nice, and also so encouraging. They were a big part of the positive atmosphere in the studio, which was a great help to me personally. The guys were prepared and focused, professional but friendly. They want to achieve YOUR vision, and they are totally open-minded to suggestions and/or changes.
Before and after filming day, the team always kept in touch. I know there were times when they were really busy with other projects, but would always answer my emails too – you never feel like your project isn’t important to them.
Finally, these guys are super talented – all you have to do is check out their website and social media, or type “Moving Memoirs Dance Project” into YouTube to see it! I’d always go to them first for any future projects I come up with.

The thing we love the most about our job is the variety of people and situations we find ourselves in. No 2 days are the same and this keeps us on our toes, constantly innovating and growing our knowledge & experience.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We have a certain way of doing things which we think is unique, and the only way to express this was to go out and give it a go on our own. It's going pretty well so far!
